Teatree oil is good for killing it, and to keep it from coming back, just keep the skin dry. Wear clothes that breathe and use powder as needed. edit: And stop scratching! Scratching is an instinct to protect against larger parasites. Microorganisms exploit it through irritation to get you to damage your skin and make it easier for them to colonize. | ||

As was suggested before, wear clothes that breathe. Dry well after showers, etc. If it doesn't clear up after a week or so of treating it, then see a doctor. If it's something else... see a doctor. | ||

Always keep the area dry (like after the shower), maybe get that anti-fungal cream other TLers are suggesting. I would but I'm still 15 and it would be too awkward to ask my parents to get me some lol. | ||

It's a general purpose topical antiseptic killing fungus, bacteria, parasitic insects, and supposedly even viruses. People put it on cuts and burns to make them heal faster, and even on pimples. The main problem is that something like 10% of people have a bad skin reaction to it which makes it unusable for them. It's a good idea to test it on a little patch of skin. Also, it soaks into everything and it has a fairly strong medicinal odor that hangs around for a while. But it's really handy stuff. Good for all sorts of skin problems. | ||

Unfortunately that shit is chronic, since it occurs on people who tend to have really dry skin. I tend to drink lots of water since I really don't want to go through the ordeal of waking up at 2 A.M just to scratch my nuts. | ||
