I have no idea how it works, but I was told that they couldn't add APMAlert in as a plugin because it modified memory. So, I would figure it scans certain parts of SC's memory and makes sure they match up, but who knows. | ||

Any of these players did NOT have AH connected when this game was played (12th Dec). And even when it's working, you can play without antihack. Antihack is a voluntery for those who wants to get more points from MOTWs. PLEASE DO some investigations before you post all this shit to entire internet. | ||

Its impossible to make a perfect anti-hack, same goes for anti-virus, etc. Perfect anti-hack: Play with people you trust; Play on a LAN; Play with a referee; Force a check that makes sure only files which have been okay'd can exist in the StarCraft directory. Perfect anti-virus: Use discretion when downloading files (I've downloaded tonnes of things over the past few years, and never had a virus). If you don't feel nervous running an .exe from a source you've never heard of, then sorry, there is no perfect anti-dumb-ass. Maybe it was unnecessary for me to post this, but I'm sick of people having such absolute, and negative beliefs. You're right, there's no artificial computer program capable of recognising new threats and inventing solutions on it's own yet. But that doesn't stop the computer in you head from picking up the slack. | ||
