Some other people in my guild had 10k people to wait through though. Very curious to see how many of these people that were in queue are going to stick it out on launch day. | ||

At least at the moment, its population is still marked as "high" and not yet "full" Not sure what server my friends are gonna commit to but I'll follow them wherever they go. If Herod is playable at launch then we'll probably do Herod. It's gonna be a super high pop server. | ||

I actually had the character creation error a ton of times and then the server caught up and made a bunch of characters with random names that i tried, so i had more than the 3 account creation cap for a while. Some people are reporting that they also got alliance & horde characters on the same pvp server with the creation lag | ||

I know the common assumption now is LA for PST and Chicago for EST but I don't think anyone has actually confirmed it (by checking [if that's possible] or from a blue post). | ||

My guild and I are going Herod Horde aswell but I dont know how much they will be playing either. Alot of people taking breaks playing casual MMO's with catgirls might play bit more but the ones comitted to retail wont start till theres downtime on that side. | ||

Requiring quite highly specific azerite traits even at an ilevel downgrade could do it a bit too - e.g. all of the good balance druid logs have triple streaking stars and a pulsar, all of the good havoc logs have an EOR with 2-3 FG's and usually a CT which only leaves 1 of the 6 traits as a flex. People who are more knowledgeable about their class and checking all of the numbers&theory would be more likely to hold onto a piece that was 10-25 ilevels lower but actually better overall. I should technically be using orgozoa shoulder at 435 instead of my current 445 (shoulder requires 65 heart to go 450), it just hasn't dropped yet. | ||

It feels like the kind of fight where if you figure out surviving the third shield its GG. We only raid 2 days and still use one of those days to clear heroic for trinkets so it doesnt leave more then 3-4 hours a week for prog and it didnt feel like it took long. Maybe 70 odd pulls and the first 40 were a complete waste because half the raid are super casual raiders that dont work on their characters outside of raid so the numbers just werent there. But once the gear is in it seemed really easy. Our first kill was super clean. The first time we broke the third shield we demolished it. And this is with a few million damages worth of inkpods bugging out (or so I was told) and not popping. Ive gambled away 800 pearls and only got a socketed abberation belt to show for it | ||

We swapped to zerg strat on azshara a while back which is way easier than doing the fight | ||

And then you lose time moving reseting, reforming, breaks, babies, dogs etc.Casual environments arent that time efficient. Which is ok. I have my own distractions so I wouldnt complain. Its just a reality. I dont have time budgeted outside those two days to do anything and I dont think most people I play with do. Azshara has been easy 1 shot whether you zerg her or not. Everyone knows how to soak and play Azshara says.. most of the pushes are easy since the damage requirements are nonexistent for any guild capable of hitting the Ashvane check, Most guilds stumble onto the zerg thing even if they dont mean to do it, because they cba to hold back on add shield breaks etc and ended up killing it anyway. | ||

We recently opened up the Gehennas realm, and we urge players on Shazzrah to consider moving there. There are a lot of players currently on Shazzrah and we want Gehennas to fill up before we open any new PvP realms. This is so that player population is spread as evenly as possible before launch, in order to provide the best play experience. While we are able to fit several times more players on a single realm in 2019 than was the case in 2006, we are not going to raise that cap any further, even though we have the technical capacity to do so. Raising realm caps would simply forestall the problem, letting more players in at launch but creating an unsustainable situation down the line, with severe queues when we turn off layering permanently before Phase 2 of our content unlock plan. Please also note that our realm population estimates of Low, Medium, High, and Full are based on this increased capacity – a Medium realm today already has more characters on it than even the most crowded realms did back in 2006. Our top priority in planning for WoW Classic’s launch has been ensuring that we are laying the groundwork for strong realm communities that will endure over the months and years to follow, which is why we’re cautiously opening new servers to meet demand." I've reserved on the new EU realm but it's very difficult to commit to it because literally everybody that i ask has already made plans for the two full realms which are probably going to have 8 hour queues. With zero xrealm and high character commitment going off to one of the unpopular servers alone means locking yourself into never playing with certain friends indefinitely so it's not something that you can choose lightly | ||

I'm not complaining about gear/rng/drops for rest of tier though got 455 bis weapon this week which considering my guild still progging ashvane is early enough in tier for me to be quite happy with it. | ||
