There's no clever workaround? like those no-target modifier for mouseover macros? None that I am aware of. Target conditions check if there is someone under the mouse (or if you have a target) and if they are friendly/hostile, stuff like that. There is no check for "I this ability off cooldown" precisely to avoid what you want to do and make sure you have to actually pay some form of attention. ah okay fair enough if that's the case - I've been missing 1/10-20 stormbringer proc opportunities but its fine - thanks for answering
Alternatively you could make a weak aura that pops up to tell you when you get stormbringer procs. I dont play enhance shaman but it feels like this could be a pretty easy thing to do to tell you so you have the info more readily available.

Weak Auras or Tell Me When procwatchers are so indispensable in raids/M+. Wago.io has ready-made weakauras for import that you can tweak as desired.

Patch notes out, not being able to delete keys now is a really stupid change. I guess after farming 15's all week when i get a kings rest in the future im stick with a dead key

Yeah the not being able to generate keys more often is a pretty lousy change.
If all the affixes affected the dungeons similarly then it would be fine, but the current dungeon tuning has a lot of the dungeons just as a dead key some weeks.
Hopefully Blizz will make tuning adjustments (probably not though since there are still massive bugs in instances for keys), or after enough issues they will revert the change since no one will want to run some dungeons on high keys with terrible affixes for the dungeon.

Do you guys know how shadow priests will be 8.1? My alt is a disc priest and if they're good I should learn the class.

No it was a fix that they put in because in the first week of M+ coming out they had not wiped the database so people were getting 15-25 lvl keys which were completely unbeatable at the time. So they put in the delete to allow people to get new keys to actually be able to do M+.
It worked out to be really nice since some dungeons have big imbalances on different weeks so being able to work around that in some way is nice (like KR on tyrannical is a 19 top key (I stand corrected, 2 teams did 20KR today with under 1m left on timer) vs FH/TD/AD 22 keys). So being able to still push higher keys without possibly running into an issue of your entire group getting 21 keys and you doing most of them and they all turn into 22 KR, you had the ability to delete them to not get blocked by a really hard dungeon.
Some of the for this change complaints are that this was never intended since people are deleting all their unfavorable keys, but its going to just turn into what Legion was where you have a bad/dead key and then no one wants to run it at the high levels and you end up doing next to no keys all week. Like this week coming up is teeming/fort/quaking, and I probably will not push too hard outside of getting like a 15/16 done for the new currency. Compare that to this week where my group did 30+ keys (mostly for the FoS, but we did 8/10 dungeons on 15s this week alone, for many who had never really pushed hard all S1). I doubt I will do 30+ keys next week, and not being able to delete keys will make that number even less if our group gets like all 15/16 motherlodes. Just not fun for me.

frost got multiple slow nerfs. including blizzard being 1.5s now while blaster master remained untouched
imagine nerfing the one viable mage spec that doesn't require 3 of a specific trait to be playable

Fire is really good in raid. I think they nerfed it so you can't kite forever in m+.

All mage specs are viable. Although 3x blaster master being so good is kinda dumb.
And yes frost slows are a bit to strong in the sense that where playing frost poorly or well has little impact in your ability to properly control.

Disabling gear that people have equipped for mythic raids / m+ with no warning or even a patch note is an enormous and unprecedented dick move!
The crafted gear should probably have required the professions or had a similar limit from the start but did not because of BFA's lack of polish. To "fix" it in this way, breaking gear on reset morning with zero warning is just making the worst out of a bad situation. This could have been pretty shit rather than another disaster if communication among blizzard and between blizzard and the community wasn't nonexistent.

At least the hunter discord knew that was that way on ptr (or something, theyve been talking about it) for quite some time. People just "hoped" it wouldn't go live. But Obviously it should have been in the patch notes.
Patch kind of broke the game for me, I couldn't log in, then I 'do stuff' (just deleting cache and wtf) but the game folder is all fucked atm and this broke other stuff which i then tried to fix but in the end I'm reinstalling. heh. Havent messed with game files in years.
My real complaints besides serious concerns about the direction of pvp balance changes is the scaling of the stupid residium. It is FAR more lucrative and rewarding to do random shitty content for azerite gear than to actually push higher keys, which continue to have no real reward at all besides io score. lol. Thank god for that I guess...

They also stealth changed quite a few dungeons that went undocumented as well.
Stealth detection on underrot matrons instead of actually fixing that trash to be more reasonable.
Temple 3rd boss got changed on his towers and causing them to bug out and just lightning bolt above players in the way giving him stacks.
But hey can't delete keys guys, thats what needed to be fixed.

don't forget the pig RP in freehold being random spawn now, so you either do the tortollan skip like the top pushers or waste even more time on RNG
I swear undocumented changes are far more important than the actual patch notes

What's the tower bug on ToS?
Laser matrix keeps breaking cc during mythic zul. I read it pulls everything in m+ as well.

Just a small list of undocumented changes that I have learned today from M+
General: Laser matrix back to breaking cc (seen in raid for zekvoz/zul)
Freehold: Pig spawns in random location instead of fixed.
Temple: Massive nerf to the lightning orbs (less than half of them are there compared to pre 8.1) 3rd boss got reworked slightly, but towers can bug and channel lightning through players 4th boss got changed to be able to be healed to 70% in first intermission, so 3 phase instead of 4 phases for fight.
Underrot: Matrons see stealth.
Siege of Boralus: 3rd boss wave now does way more damage (like 150k instead of the 25-40k yesterday) 4th boss tentacles aggro the entire platform so you cant skip any. Also the last platform can aggro as soon as the 2nd cannon is shot and cast hull cracker before anyone on your team is even on the 3rd platform.
Kings Rest: Berserkers are now immune to DK control/stuns/CC.
Atal'dazar: Can no longer warlock gate/warrior leap into volkaals room.
There is probably even more than listed as people keep finding new things.
I get some of this stuff should be fixed (and am understanding in this like the siege/atal fixes), but can they not at least tell us about this? Finding out in the middle of a pull is not very fun or engaging when nothing in the dungeon journal has changed and there are no patch notes about this.
Edit: I should specify that some of these fixes are taking precedent over other things that should probably be fixed (like FH rp skip to me is way more important than the pig doing a random spawn in RP).
edit2: I forgot to mention that the Emissaries no longer reward azerite armor specifically, but can reward any slot item at 370.
