I've been having an easy time completing +8 lately and I'd be happy to let you join if that's what you're after. I haven't been able to beat the timer on +9 yet, but I've only tried twice. Just 6’s and 7’s on the M+ that I don’t have a completion for beyond 2 (raiderio score so I can pass that check), and membership in a weekly +10 that doesn’t break up before end boss, timer or no timer. NA Horde. I’m ilevel 363. It’s probably just a luck issue, but we’ll see what this week brings. *Hopefully* some more azerite gear from H Uldir.

(got 385 hp on use trinket from pvp chest also..... sad days. I guess it raises my bag ilvl) Supposedly if you don't get an azerite piece then your chances of getting an azerite piece increase if you do, chance resets so getting a piece on the 1'st week was the best outcome

I'm 99% sure they intended Zul to be a difficult 7min boss with a harsh burn phase and all, and instead you have 5 or 6 rogues doing 30k+ DPS ending the fight in 3min because they didnb't put together the fact that endless useless adds is infinite dps for Subtlety. I went a bit more hardcore in my guild choices after Argus, we just got Mythrax 83th world, but sadly, I'm living the benched life for Mythrax and Ghuun, because while Zul is a stupid rogue spam boss, the last two are Havoc+Warrior for buffs, every other melee is out.

Part of the problem is the guild / raid leader plays MW like me and he is always there of course. Maybe they dont want 2nd MW in raid, but I suspect he does not want to look bad in comparison. :D If they would play decent it would be fine but it is so annoying to be benched by people with lack of basic understanding of their class. Well and the other aspect is I am not popular since I never hang out on TS etc. Why does WoW have to be such a social game? I thought we were past that. I just want to play raids and log off the rest of the time. ![]() Still not sure if I want to go through the trouble of looking for a new guild. Maybe anyone here looking for a solid MW? Eu server, mythic raiding as healer since WoD. Present on every raid, high hps, low mistakes, usually too lazy to learn boss mechanics in advance.

Also I was in a pub yesterday with a 2nd MW and he messaged me after Mother asking me to stop healing so much so he could work on making his parses look better. But the dude pulled grey/green parses on every fight so I dunno what would have helped him lol.

I dont think they should bench you if you are performing well, but what's against at least being around sometimes to talk to your guildies? Part of the problem is I always do other stuff while playing like watching TV series, streams etc. so I really dont want to hear anyone talk. Only exception is raids when I am focussed on just the game. Well and raiding is like the only thing I like to do in the game. Also I am already fed up from the ever same jokes etc when in the raid, I really dont want to hear more of that afterwards. I play a bit of M+ but those are even more social events in the guild with most groups being set and having their healer. They just want me to carry their smurfs. So I PUG that as well.

And you should not try to outcompete other healers and take away their heals ("snipe" their heals). Healing is just about keeping everyone alive and often that means saving cooldowns and letting other healers do their part and not pushing them into overhealing. But you can still tell from healer logs if someone is doing bad. Often looking at the details is required though and not just looking at raw hps numbers, although with hps a minimum is still necessary.

That just sounds like a meh situation to be in. I struggle with just getting a consistent M+ group because most people I run with have a wide variance of skill. Not really cool to only take you to carry their alts. On October 03 2018 13:47 Mohdoo wrote: What does it mean to "pull parses"? Basically was Redox said. This particular pub basically wanted me to heal less so he could heal as much as he could to have a higher hps. But even on Vectis where all the healers were needing to push themselves pretty hard, I out healed him 23k to 17k hps at the same ilvl (366 MW vs his 367 MW). Parses as a healer are not as effective. If the raid doesnt die then your parse is pretty meaningless. Take mother for example where people have enough dps to kill her in the second, or even first room, which makes the healing requirement virtually nothing compared to having to do all 3 rooms. You will never parse well in this case, so these ones are kind of worthless to compare.

The only reason to look at the logs is if the other healers complain that they can't keep the healing up and people die because one or multiple other healers doesn't heal enough.

I can very much sympathize with Redox because I have been in a similar situation during MoP. Was a healer, didn't try to cheese the meters and worked on just keeping the raid alive. On bosses where individual performance mattered (like spread to the corners on Lei Shen) I never had issues and would switch places to help groups that were struggling to stay alive. But at the end of the day the GM came to me saying I needed to 'heal more'. Its frustrating when your in a guild full of meter whores, so I eventually told him to stuff it and left for another guild.

Well I wish it would work like that in my guild because it would mean that performance would at least somehow matter. I am mostly topping the meters, partly because some other healers are just underperforming so much that this comes by default. My issue is just that I am not part of the inner circle and that the guild leader plays my class / spec as well and does not let me play while playing awful himself.

You need some pretty powerful traits on the 340 to make that true, the loss of ~5% mainstat and stamina is huge

At least it is the best I found for healing. It is actually super hard to know what each trait is worth, especially as healer because random healing spikes are worth much less than the base healing imo.
