For war mode I've noticed more players have it on than off so it makes summoning easier to have it on imo. But the PvP talents would help with WQ's too. Though WW Monk seems pretty good at WQ's so I'm not hurting too bad there unlike some other specs. Bonus resources don't hurt on top of that.

Unlocking Siege of Boralus as a Horde player now unlocks the dungeon for all Horde characters on that account.
Unlocking Kings' Rest as an Alliance player now unlocks the dungeon for all Alliance characters on that account.

Good point Cyro, i thought i was the only one getting stupidly unlucky on missions where they all have <8 hours until despawn and i have a full mission group out for 12 hours.
Does anyone know if the app is updated and working yet?

I prefer to play WW but Ive tanked all of the Mythics comfortably. Happy to run people through hcs/normals if they want to gear. Just hit me up in the Community.
I will probably spend most of my time playing horde chars though.

yes Im using the app I dont think ive ever actually walked up to the mission table. after the first few times. I wish i had more time for rep grinds. Champions of Azeroth is a pain unless you can take some time off and play all day.

This is why i hate it even more. Don't have or want that app and i think it's ridiculous to have an MMO game designed so that things like mission table and AH run better from a mobile phone than from the desktop game client. Shortening the mission expiry times so that you can't go out with family or sleep in certain portions of the day without missing out on large rewards is really scummy

I wouldnt say it runs better, but its certainly more convenient.. unless thats what you meant by better.

Yes, i can't take my desktop out to a family event so it leaves two options: Miss the mission entirely or cancel plans.
Also miss mission entirely or wake up in the middle of sleep to go send off a new one
They make the expiries so short and overlapping with other missions specifically to fuck with people and make them download the mobile app and then open it a bunch of times per day, it's not done in the interest of engaging gameplay.

I noticed this too and quickly learned to not send guys on a 12 hour mission for 80 gold or whatever.

In my case last night it was a 7'th legion rep mission blocking access to two CoA missions that spawned together after it, both seem to have gone after 12hr or less

Yeah Ive been conservative with that aswell. Coming form legion when your followers are all maxed out there is a tendency to aim to maximize returns and send stuff asap but Ive really only run missions for things I really need. Honestly the Gold missions are a complete joke.

Probably for the better that missions reward no gold, the value of gold has dramatically increased in the last 6 weeks - token price is down 1.7x over here.

Legion saw a rise and fall through the prepatch release but these kinds of increases in gold value are unprecedented AFAIK
We usually see strong inflation with each expansion, in this case i don't see where the gold would come from to make people be able to afford 500k/month tokens. They were doing it 370k tokens on the back of class hall gold missions and boosting of people doing class hall gold missions before; that income source crashed on prepatch day bringing the token price down with it.
Expansion before that it was Garrisons. Before that - even in the early half of WOD - people had a tiny fraction of the gold that they got used to at end-legion; tokens sold then for 50k, not 370k.
The value of gold could have been held down quite far by garrison+classhall gold for the last two expansions so there may not be room for it to half in value and then keep inflating when the expansion rush is over. I do expect it to go back up, just not by that much and not super quickly either.

End of gold missions and the start of the expansion with its high prices causing people to sell more tokens for gold increasing supply both work to drive down the price.

A lot of people probably want the 5mio gold mount for its Auction house. Also items, yes. I dont remember there ever being this many max ilvl boe from the getgo, even though they wont be anymore in 3 weeks. Come mythic+ boosting will be a goldmine, im excited. All in all theres a lot of ways to spend gold now.

Mal'ganis is great to play Horde on but being overwhelmingly dominant isnt fun either
Thats why the Ally characters I created are on like low pop connected realms which tend to have a bit of a better balance.
Infact its been great and the world pvp is fun. Its not saturated, the skirmshes are small enough to where you can actually use some skill and not just get derped by 40 people pasting one guy.
Some you win some you lose.. its been enjoyable. The only thing you are giving up is mythic raiding and that is totally governed by how brutal the winter is for me

On Mal'ganis ? Playing Alliance on warmode there would be suicide :p
I'm on Silvermoon where ally outnumber horde like 100:1 but in warmode there are way more horde than alliance

Warmode shares try to balance out the factions. So you have a bunch with roughly 1:1 and a few lobsides ones.

I kind of wish I rolled Horde on an Alliance favored server instead of Illidan. I'm sure there's a lot of downsides, but it would feel kinda badass.

omfg some newbs booted me from an expedition when I was going a separate way than them and getting more azerite than them combined. what is so hard about working your way toward the closest red X to start? every group I get the people attack every mob they come across and when they run in to the enemy team they endlessly fight them. and these two guys had the nerve to boot me after I carried them rofl
