exactly. We went strait to heroics at 280-90 ilvl from questing. did about a full cycle of them to get to 300+ and then dove into Mythics the next day. Now most are sitting at ~330.
And I don't think the loot system is different from other expansions other then forced personal and not being able to trade Azurite pieces (which sucked when i got a second shoulder and chest someone else could have used). Your just running into variance.
considering the amount of runs being done, normal variance means a lot of people get 'unlucky'

You know, you don't HAVE to play with pure endgame in mind...
Take your time, explore what you want. Take a break from the game if you like. No reason to rush through.

Well, whats there to do aside from that?
I could finnish all the quests in the Dessert zone, but allready did that on my Shaman. My DK has done pretty much every last quest in Zuldazar and the Swamp. Whats left to do? Push professions, ride to marks on the minimap for very, very boring quests and do dungeons.
I kinda miss Suramar... It felt like there was much more to do on maxlevel in Legion than here aside from the pure grind.
Btw: The azurite system is also just so... boring and bad?

If you’ve done everything you can do with the main storyline and you aren’t interested in grinding dungeons or island expeditions...
You can just take it easy, play when you feel like it, don’t play when you don’t feel like it...

... I'm allready fed up again. Sounds like the classic problem of playing WoW alone while also trying to do late game content. Yeah that will suck most of the time.
Either you go full casual and laid back or you group up.

I got people to Play with, i just dinged a little later because i played a Shaman to 105 and then restarted as DK and just dinged 120 on sunday.
Where am I wrong? The Solo content on maxlevel is absolutely horrible/barely existant. Dungeons on normal (and from what my friends told me) on heroic + most mythics are a joke difficulty wise.
It just feels like a pure, uninspired grind to me atm. Legion felt like this after 2-3 Months, this does after not even a week.

The end game content for BFA is focused around the war campaign, to unlock that which im sure you haven't completed yet if you dinged sunday is focusing on grinding out honorbound quests on horde and SI7 (i think) on Alliance, getting rep up there unlocks war campaign which in return gets you access to one more mythic dungeon. Also you need it for pathfinder part 1 which is very handy to have.
Expeditions need to be done at max level as well, doing those to grind weekly azerite is a must to keep up with your neck along with azerite quests aka champions of azeroth world quests. Genuine rep grind is good as well as a whole as it unlocks gear when you get revered/exalted.
Then two weeks today for US and two weeks tomorrow for EU; Warfronts unlock, the new raid comes out on normal and heroic, world bosses return and a new PvP season begins.
Oh and our old friend Mythic + returns :D
So if you are "bored" right now at max level and have done the mythic 10 dungeons for the weekly reset, done all the rep grinds you can do aka all world quests for the day and completed the quest story in all zone and up to date on war campaign. That means you are doing good so you can level and alt and do it all again. That is what i have done.
I have 2 chars max level right now one alliance one horde and i wil probably make a third this week to get him geared for next time as well.

They are still meant to be done in PUGs though, so if you go in with your experienced group of mythic raiders they are not that big of a challenge of course.
I did it with guild, which was easy, and with pug, which was often a pain. So imo they are about right.
In any case they have a lot of interesting mechanics on bosses but also on trash (way more than in Legion) so you know when you play at the appropriate M+ level you will have a challenge for sure.
The first 2 weeks have no cutting edge end game content on purpose, you are supposed to level up and equip yourself without stressing about it.
Maybe play some Mythics and judge for yourself.

Think it has been the case for the last two expansions where blizzard really did give a nice gap of 2 weeks for people to level stress free and gear up before the first big content comes out.
Some Mythic pugs can be ok, the main issue i have found in my pugs were just "slowness" on trash which i don't mind because as long as i did the dungeon i didn't mind but some people are very timid with pulls xD I have been in groups at 225ilvl average though so i think we are more than geared to do those mythics stress free.

Also remember that if your running out of content after 5-6 days your not operating at a speed Blizzard is (or even can) design at.

I'm so happy I play a DK and can just queue as tank for instant pops. My DPS-only guildies are complaining a ton. Got my first 355 drop in a mythic yesterday which is also nice. 4 more dungeons to grind tonight before the reset.
Quite liking the expansion so far. I'm confused by people complaining about a lack of things to do, I don't have enough time to do all the shit I want to and I've got 3 more characters sitting at 110 waiting to be levelled...

Do you want to tank for me Laurens? :3
But this reset im focusing on getting tank gear myself on my warrior so i can tank mythics too. It is easier to get groups but also fun anyway, tanking is an art.

Very true. If you're running out of content after 5-6 days, you probably have a very limited view on what you can do and what you want to do. That's completely your own fault.

Or you play too much xD
Expansion is 7 days old and i have kept two alts pretty good going at the moment, revered with several factions on both horde and alliance. Just have 4 mythics left on my warrior. Did the expedition grind on both as well as leveling both too xD
Method/Future PVE players who play 10-12 hours a day are also 3/3 war campaign revered/exalted etc etc. So it is possible but like Gors said, you are playing the game to much for what it was designed to do.

If you activate war mode, does it try to put you on shards that are equal population of horde and alliance? I'm afraid to try and waste my time when my server is 90% the opposite faction. With war mode off, I definitely encounter far more of the opposite faction.
Also, beware of anyone who faction changes at 120: I have to re-do all the zone story quests in order to unlock Siege of Boralus haven't even started on that yet

Yeah i too had faction change and lost all my chapters, made a ticket and they explained "this is working as intended". That wasn't the biggest flaw, you lose every flight path as well, so you literally have to "run" around the whole zone collecting flight paths before you can start doing world quests again without wasting your time.
In war mode on the servers i have tried on EU.
Twisting Nether i am horde and it is like 99.999% horde and i have no issues in War Mode, barely see many alliance.
Grim Batol i am Alliance and i see way to many horde and have turned war mode off.
In all fairness war mode only gives you 10% bonus on war resources, azerite world quests and gold. It doesn't upgrade loot rewards not reputation. So i dont miss out much on Alliance side with it off.

Yeah the flight paths were annoying.
If you unlock the dungeon on one character does it unlock for alts? If so then I may as well level an alt with all the story quests.
For war mode I've noticed more players have it on than off so it makes summoning easier to have it on imo. But the PvP talents would help with WQ's too. Though WW Monk seems pretty good at WQ's so I'm not hurting too bad there unlike some other specs. Bonus resources don't hurt on top of that.

I'll be running Freehold and Underrot mythic around 4 PM UK today, my guildies will get priority to join but if there's a spot, sure.

I played 48 hours in 5 days. The game isn't designed to accommodate that so naturally I will run out of things to do.

The mission table has been pissing me off. They keep putting up missions for like 225+275 champions of azeroth rep that i can't send off because my heroes are busy and then they despawn in like 8 or 12 hours, i've missed them several times because i refused to set alarms at 4am for them.
Hated this thing for 3 expansions in a row, for like 1/3'rd of Legion it wasn't too annoying and then they ruined it again

It's region based, not server based. On EU i think there are a bunch of shards which have like 50 horde and 2 alliance players left over so it's not very nice to use it Ally side.
