Yeah, or not. Not simming better or showing better results in game. RIP.

IIRC it's always been that way So the people reporting that it's not working that way are just making it up? I still don't understand. edit: Looking at the reddit thread, there are other people reporting the same thing as this guy writing a ticket to the GM. They're all lying? No one in that thread comes up with an explanation either. They give counterexamples to the GM's explanation, but there are counterexamples to their own explanation... doesn't seem like anyone knows how the system actually works.

You get the highest you ran the week in time -4 or something, doesnt matter if the key was yours or not.

The thread is about either a bug or an unannounced change and some other people are discussing that. Sort by top, all of the top answers are saying that too: https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/66xouz/completed_a_mythic_12_last_week_and_got_a_mythic/?sort=top

Guess I'm just out of touch but it seems absurd that they'd submit a bogus ticket to fish for a poor explanation from a GM just to ridicule him. I mean yeah if you get someone to believe something false, then their explanation of reality is going to be incorrect. If that's not what they're doing then I'd think they'd be quoting designers about how the system is supposed to work (to demonstrate that this is a bug).

The +2 key and the depleted key are probably just bugs

Top two comments are just contradicting the GM All of the top comments are contradicting the GM because the GM is wrong There have been occasional bugs (people getting depleted keys etc) but very rare and usually fixed quickly ---- Guess I'm just out of touch but it seems absurd that they'd submit a bogus ticket to fish for a poor explanation from a GM just to ridicule him It's not a bogus ticket or fishing for a poor explanation if there is actually an issue with the game. It looks like either a bug or an undocumented change but it's definitely not what the GM said as the system has not worked that way, it's been based on the level of the key that you completed for as long as i can remember

We know how it works because 99% of people experience the same thing since the start of the expansion. Highest key from the past week, no matter who it belonged to and so long as you completed it, even if out of time.

I just couldn't get over the absurdity of so many people asserting an explanation that is being directly contradicted by multiple people giving evidence. Because the evidence is from the 1% of the time where it didn't work as it did the other 99% for everyone else I'm pretty sure that it's that way on purpose and that devs have talked about it before
