Raid Leader wants to extend the Raid ID until we get Gul'Dan, which sounds reasonnable since we have more than enough gear, but damn does that sound tedious. 1 Month only seeing Gul'Dan is going to wear me down pretty quickly.
We did that for Mannoroth AND Archimonde in HFC. It does wear down, but as long as progress is being made, it's not terrible.

Enjoy
Elisande fell over in just a couple of days for us mostly because the DPS checks were so easy. Was just a matter of ensuring interrupts were working+ Show Spoiler + (I fucking hate it, there plenty to worry about without having to interrupt an add that spawns in butt fuck nowhere when the rings are coming out. RIP dps, especially when asshole Demon hunters keep eating the interrupts to get fury when its convenient for them and mess up the timing) but we are farming it easy now. Rekills just take 2-3 attempts.
I am skipping out on Gul'dan after the first night cuz im going on vacation but damn is it tedious AF. Its such a long fight you can barely get tries in if your going deep into P2 and trying to optimize the phase push to P3 (big secret luls). And even one person dying just makes it pointless to keep going.
Extending the lockout makes sense if you have gear already. With the new traits you will be gaining anyway.I dont think it should take you a month though, but if you had trouble with Elisande after patch its certainly possible you might be looking at a month of progress but I dont think it will take that long as you get more AP in your weapons and the push timings become easier to control

We only do 3 days so learning complicated bosses like that does take us a while. I think a month is going to be a minimum really.

So do we, If you are extending its not that bad. You will know pretty quick once you get into it, you never know sometimes you can get the right strategy compy and your raid group might pick up the figh quicker. Positive thinking !

What the actual fuck
is that real?

Looks like a numerical error to me. You know, computer trying to give 1 and going negative or something ? Becuase if that's real, what the fuck man.

Holy fuck! that's 133 chances to get an arcano crystal!
In other news, tyrannical 20 kara upper is fucking hard! :D we had to 2 heal medivh and still barely made it with mana. Flame Wreath ticking for 1.2m per target for 2 people for 20 seconds. If either of those guys get hit by flame blast..rip :D The other parts weren't that bad, but Medivh's damage is waaay overtuned compared to the others.

666,666 is too oddly specific
The game does have a lot of RNG that affects gear recently and practically i don't think this would have much effect but i hate that. Wtf. Took my buddy days to farm 200k and they've nerfed sentinax farming to the ground since then, it just doesn't feel right for tens, hundreds of hours of effort to be beaten by somebody else playing for 30 seconds and winning a dice roll.
<Insert Warri's monkey video about legendaries here>

Yeah, the Kara's were a few levels harder than the other mythic+ last i saw. I have not seen CoEN since the nerf train left the station, how is it?

Still hard as balls. Haven't got a proper key, but seeing as even the highest clears in the world are still very low...the damage is just insane.

Most getting beaten within the timer on 21-22 worldbest while CoEN and the Kara's max at 18 - that's quite a significant tuning gap. Nerfs were relatively recent and people have not figured out all of the stuff but that's.. more than a quarter more health and damage on everything for all of the other dungeons?

In lower kara, maiden (less) and moroes (more) is the roadblock. We finished lower kara 20 this week as well. Maiden will flat out kill you if you don't have enough burst dmg to break the shield and enough burst healing to keep people alive through the ticking dmg from the sacred ground. When that shit is ticking for over a million on 5 people for 10 seconds..yea. Painful. Moroes was quite hardcore. Blizz did nerf the dmg on Garrote already, but it still did like 60% of the total dmg in that encounter. Healer mana very precious and with grievous added to the mix this week, it's so easy to fall behind. Barely eeked out a kill and had to use several combat resses to reset garrote bleed stacks on people.
Upper kara medivh is just so hilariously overtuned for tyrannical that it's almost not funny. One flame wreath phase took 40% of our druid healer's mana and it takes a hella lot more than 1 wreath phase to kill it. In the end we gave it a go with me going as disc to hybrid dmg/heal, but honestly would probably have been better served by going holy for full 2nd healer. Both of us used a leytorrent, innervates, I died and got ressed for a 2nd potion and still were totally dry by the time the boss died. The other bosses are just executing mechanics right and maybe on mana wyrm you want to have immunities to do mass soaks to avoid the mana stacking up too high, but medivh is purely a numbers issue.
I think 20 tyrannical Curator had almost 700 million health. Medivh had 520m I think.
Still, this is exactly what I want from my hard 5 mans. You got a small, focused grp to tackle really hard content, which is really fun, when everyone is there to do the same thing. No one is afraid that we aren't completing a key in time and everyone is fine with the fact that we're gonna use 2 hours to do one really hard key and probably burn as much consumables as a raid night, but that's fine. Really digging the system, but they really need to tune these quicker instead of waiting for patches on end.

Am I doing something wrong, or does farming nethershards take a while? I keep hearing about people farming thousands and I am here picking up 10s of shards here and there.

its been nerfed to the ground.
my group has been on pussy mode this week after we depleted the 18 eye and 17 maw key and a third key turned out to be cathedral 18, no one is motivated to retry the first two or even push another key. So no progress for me this week

my weakauras are all gone after wow froze and i had to force restart it
just fucking kill me honestly

I had that happen the other week. Twice. That taught me to keep 2 copies of my profile folder in separate drives as backup. Because fuck blizzard and their "back up .lua" files that get overridden to be empty files at the same moment the main files fail.
At least becuase of that I figured out what the problem was. Apparently Avast (antivirus suite) was updated that implemented a "gamer" mode that automatically elevates game apps to higher processor prio and such, which caused my WoW to crash on exit, which lead to the above problem. Uninstalling that "helpful" module of Avast sorted it out.

where's the profile folder
i'm going to do the same + upload it to google drive and mega

I didn't look too closely at the new AK percentages, seems like 26+ (or at least 26 through 30) are scaling a bit faster than the older ones. +5 AK's now looks about the same as +6 AK's did before

It was done to discourage non-stop AP farming since it just becomes to inefficient without the AK.
