Edit: Yeah looks like they changed the amount of resources need. Logged in and its at 30/7/7 now instead of the 7/1/1 when I logged out.

So I ran a few kara keys to get some healers a drape of shame.
First run I loot an 885, Second Run 895, third run 905. Went to a MW, Druid and a Holy Pala
Meanwhile 2 months of coining HC Guldan twice every week and 0 whisper drops.

That's a pretty bad overnerf for maw, few dungeons taking 1.25x longer and giving 1.71x more AP which ruin the curve

Yea was super disappointed when we did a 14 maw and got 460kish AP. Was a total #notworth moment, especially as they buffed helya's phase 1 and combined with volcanic...well let's just say that you had a bad time if you weren't a melee dps there. Trying to find a moment to cast anything was a real pain.
There's still some weird inconsistencies with the AP though, we had it several times that different people in the same grp who did the same m+ got different AP amounts from the tokens. Like tooltip would say you get 775k, then when I actually used the token, I'd get 800k and someone else in the grp would get 750k.

I'm barely farming, and so is my guild. We did a bit of math and basically if you do all raids, a few worldquests, and a decently high enough M+ for the weekly chest, you won't fall behind because AK is just so crazy powerfull for each level of it.
Also, we did a night on Elisande Mythic yesterday, despite the bugs, since we are still practicing Phase 1 anyway, and we are doing a 3 rings in P1 strat
The buggy rings start at the 4th one from our experience, which was a nice way to force us to play better.
Also, I'm going to gloat a little but I'm finally the most geared Monk from French Realm, and almost most geared one in Europe. Now if only I had the right legendaries to be that high in SimDPS :p

41 +10 million over it, so I could be 42 by tomorrow if I really tried, don't see the point though. Next trait that really does something for me is at 45.
Also suddenly, I'm 914 geared. Dunno what happened.

People who farm a little bit and people who farm a lot will eventually level out to earning traits at the same rate but the person who farmed more will have more traits when that happens.
It's especially useful to blitz to some earlier traits, Havoc has +35k DPS on trait 42 etc

sv traits are bad - not really worth it - still farming thou just not as nerdlike as i was back in the day (had all 3 weapons at 54 in december without a boostgroup)
some traits really feel like "well ....49m ap for...this?"

I'm not sure when you can buy the first rank of concordance. After about 45 i think (all new traits + getting the previously best old ones to 4/4) there'll probably be a lul where we have to buy the less powerful traits for massive amounts of AP before going onto concordance rank 1?

WW traits get pretty meaningless after the 44th one, and that's pretty quick to get.
Also, you need 51 points to unlock Concordance. So all the new traits + all the old ones to 4/4

yep, you need all old traits at 44 and the new ones before you can unlock Concordance.
It will be a while.

Any other BM hunters concerned about the T20 bonuses? We're losing the massive uptime we currently have on BW for an incremental damage increase only active while BM is up. Ilvl permitting it almost looks like the best performing set for ToS would be 4pc t19+2pc t20 with belt/wrists+convergence of fates, still enchanting for crit. Otherwise we are completely at RNGesus' mercy since we won't be able to allow BW to fall off without incurring in a massive damage loss.
This reminds me of WotLK sets, with the Naxx set bonuses being so good on hunter compared to Ulduar that I had to reroll for it.

For the visually inclined, here's a graph:

Essentially each time you double your effort you'll put yourself 3 traits ahead, but from there will earn traits at the same rate as before (as Cyro noted). As such there isn't much reason to go nuts on farming unless you're withing spitting distance of a very powerful trait.

Time to start grinding again to hope to get wirsts before starting progress on Guldan
I was very close to a legendayr, should have waited on opening the cache and got a 5000 nethershard wirsts token to try my luck :/

I think its the same for fury, i can easily see using T19 4p + 2p for T20 cause the 4p is over whelming since you cant make good use of the buff raging blow gives bloodthirst since you kinda have to use bloodthirst a lot, and dropping 1.5 seconds on enrage is kind of a big deal. also without nerfs looking at the trinkets CoF+Draught will still be king for warriors. unless the fire damage on hit one is big enough to make up the difference. Cause for me the draught active is easily 20-25% of my damage on bosses lmao
