gz on ogre New traits for DH add like 50k DPS i guess. I was also just made aware that the base ilvl gear from heroic tomb is 905-910ilvl - that means that heroic t20 could be a downgrade compared to warforged heroic tier19 | ||

feels wrong i'll be passing on almost everything a new raid drops in the first week of its release... My normal/heroic tier 19 is item level 925, 905, 900 and 895(socket) by halfway through t19, will only get better. Maybe i'l get a mythic piece or two as well edit: Tuning of tier 20 set bonuses, as well as the item level of Tomb of Sargeras raid gear, is ongoing, and adjustments will continue as we get closer to the raid’s opening. Item levels in particular will not be finalized until the raid’s release is imminent. However, to help avoid confusion, we’ll be applying a small hotfix that will increase the item level of Tomb of Sargeras raid gear by an additional 15 item levels so it’s at least closer to where we expect the final numbers to end up. Well that died fast 920-925 baseline from heroic TOV? That's like 30-35ilvls up from Nighthold stuff. Very rewarding, sure, but maybe Nighthold shouldn't have gone that high to require such a jump. | ||

i've been so busy that i haven't had the chance to even go into N NH, maybe it's a good time/sign to leave the game at least until next xpac. ever since transferring to oceania i've had little motivation to play. | ||

7.2 comes out next week wtf? feels like nighthold only came out yesterday We're not more than ~halfway through Nighthold, next raid will be summer time. The main features of 7.2 are new artifact stuff, legendary reworks/rebalancing, broken shore, dungeon reworks and new dungeon + affixes, class mounts etc | ||

There's plentiful content. If you're not motivated then yea maybe a break is good, but waiting an entire year for the next expansion seems really extreme. | ||

Add to that the fact they nerfed Fortified and Tyrannical in 7.2, I think the rescaling of difficulty is going to be intense. a 7.2 +10 might be pretty hard. | ||

Base mythic is 25ilvls harder, everything scales up by % from it 15 is 1.5x more hp and damage than 10 Add to that the fact they nerfed Fortified and Tyrannical in 7.2 They still buff enemy HP the same but they buff enemy damage by one quarter less. The damage scaling was a bit wonky at higher keys and enemies would start to 1shot you with random attacks or mechanics much sooner than the additional enemy HP became a huge problem. This will basically increase the time-to-death for both you and the enemies which plays a lot better IMO. The rescale will be nice for AP/gear rewards - on live servers you spam either 7's or 10's depending on group strength for AP but you do 15's for gear because nothing above 10 gives additional AP; the rebalance of 10 to give the new max gear will address that issue with the scaling. AP will be a hot thing for a while after 7.2 because the new traits are pretty good and really expensive :D The so-far-BIS trinket for havoc single target, eye of command, will also be dropping readily at item level 890++ which is a lot better than the warforged-to-870 version that i've been able to get so far. I think i'l be hoarding upper karazhan keys for a while~ (also excited to play that thing on HARD versions, we overgeared it day 1 because it was tuned for gearing chars and not raid guys) Some notable new additions to 7.2: Healers and tanks get the damage-per-artifact-trait effect boosted by 1.3x. The damage-per-artifact-trait for everybody STOPS at the start of prestige rank and hp-per-trait decreases but continues scaling Feral and WW got some buffs ~(+4% dmg?) | ||

 DH ring was nerfed by ~1.286x for demon blades but not nerfed at all for demon's bite. That change + new wep traits might being 3-3 and 2-2 closer together. Will have to do lots of sims of course :D | ||

Ends up being a 3% ish buff overall to us. Not bad. Doesn't offset the destruction of the legendary boots but heh, it's something. There's a lot of discussion in the Monk discord about a new 7.2 legendary set up, with Legendary chest + Bracer but using Serenity. With the new Split personaliy trait ( reduce cooldown of sef / serenity ) or using a Converngence of fate until we have the traits, we can create a build that has Serenity up for every SotWL ( artefact ) and that allows casting of a fully powered Jade Lightning from the chest during Serenity itself. Would be a VERY strong ST build if you can have access to both those legendaries. Sadly I don't have either, so fuck me right :D | ||
