Prydaz, Xavaric's Magnum Opus: Every 30 seconds, gain an absorb shield for 15% (25% for non-tanks) of your maximum health for 30 seconds. Well RIP vengeance dreams :D nerfed to half of what it used to be http://imgur.com/a/WIGzM | ||

I heared legs that drop after patch get 940 and old ones you have to upgrade first with Nighthold stuff. If that is true kinda unlucky for you even though Prydaz is nice. I am working towards my 5th leg atm and hope it will not drop before the patch. | ||

Legendaries though they messed up with bad. Regardless of what people try to do to get ahead, the fact that you cant balance them when you give them dps utility will always exist and they messed it up pretty bad for the first tier. Naturally the easy solution is to give every everything sooner rather than later. But still. The fact that certain pieces of gear are so overwhelmingly OP in certain instances is a bit silly. Yeah it is pretty obvious that balancing utility vs dps/hps legs is impossible. But what I really dont get is that their "balancing attempts" are just so extremely off the mark. To the point that I am suspecting they do not even try to balance things but intentionally have leg power vary greatly to push the whole RNG aspect of the game. Like the new healer trinket http://ptr.wowdb.com/items/144258-velens-future-sight. Took me all but 2 seconds to realize this is op as fuck and gives every healer who is lucky enough a huge boost, probably bigger than any other leg. Buffing Prydaz so strongly by taking away no dmg taken requirement AND going from 15% to 25% shield is just nonsense when just one of those would have been more than enough. Icy Veins is now listing it as best Mistweaver leg which should not be the case for an all class utility leg. Then I look at mistweaver leg changes. Only leg that got changed was http://ptr.wowdb.com/items/137028-eithas-lunar-glides-of-eramas#22900-23244 buffing hot extension from 2 to 5 secs. This leg was already decent though, being very good in certain situations while bad in others. Why would they only buff a middle of the pack leg and then by 150%? Why not http://www.wowdb.com/items/137045-eye-of-collidus-the-warp-watcher which has useless passive and worst stats possible? Seems just super random. The new Mistweaver leg http://ptr.wowdb.com/items/144340-shelter-of-rin is pretty weak except for its stats. Because it relies on Sheilun's Gift which is probably the worst artifact spell in the game (could rant even more about that one). That spell is like 1.3% of my heal, with ideally 3-4 renewing mist active this would contribute like 0.7% to my heal, yay. Guess I could use it more often with this leg maybe raising it to 1%. Then for comparison I look at the new shaman leg http://ptr.wowdb.com/items/143732-uncertain-reminder which gives you an extra 30 sec of bloodlust on top of having perfect resto stats. Keep in mind resto shaman also heals 25% more under bloodlust due to artifact trait. So during those 30 sec it is about extra 50% of heal. Which would be 5% overall on 5 min fight but you have it likely at a very important time which is all that matters as healer. So if legs differed by maybe 20-30% that would be understandable but those 2 legs' passives differ in usefulness by like 300-1000% which is just ridiculous. And this is just a very quick look at legs relevant to my character, I am sure there is much more nonsense going on. | ||

--- Didn't get legendary #5 today, probably for the better. The two new legendaries are trinket and shoulder; DPS trinket is simming better than i imagined and the shoulder is not bad either We're missing a lot of stuff from the patch notes still. I just learned that the scaling on some DH relics were changed, not in the notes and nobody mentioned it 'til now | ||

Still at three and I do a pretty large amount of content. =/ On January 11 2017 04:17 Duka08 wrote: I thought they were going to nerf fire mage to hell and back? Doesn't seem that bad. I know combustion and crit strings got worse but there are a number of interesting new changes making other things better, like Flame On passive with awesome cooldown reduction on fire blast and meteor basically getting double the damage from before. I really should have stood and hit a dummy for a while before the patch so I knew before and after, but I'm doing a consistent ~210k on boss dummy with 846 ilvl. Feels ok. Edit: it should be obvious that I barely play this game anymore lol, I just like mages. They said they wouldn't nerf spec to oblivion to not invalidate time spent on grinding AP. Fire was nerfed and top tier mages will probably switch spec because the single target is worst than the other specs now, but it doesn't end with Fire being too far behind. Still has better AoE than the other two specs too. | ||

If anything it's already more enjoyable to play, even if it's not top dog anymore. | ||

I have all 3 of my specs in 888 ilvl gear, each of my weapons is over 35 with disc leading somewhere in the 42s, the only boss I haven't killed is M Helya (p1 progress yay!). Lately I've started slacking on clearing emissaries and AP WQs because I just can't be arsed anymore and wanted to play some other games as well. But I've been very active since launch. The other as or more active players in our guild also have 5 or 6 by now. | ||

I'm on it when EU comes up ![]() Not gonna jump straight into Demonic, though, chaos blades will be very powerful as well so i'd like to try it first. More meta uptime or a button that increases all damage by 30% with low mastery, 60+% with high mastery for 12 seconds on? We'll have meta anyway on the biggest pulls. Demonic will be great, it will just be more focused on sustained damage and survivability than massive power peaks. Blind Fury, Raddons, Demonic Appetite :D The other as or more active players in our guild also have 5 or 6 by now. I cleared every emissary, 600-ish M+, EN about 35 times on normal or higher for my 4. As far as i can tell that legendary amount is normal for that amount of content (having started from day 1) Players are no longer able to use Artifact Power items while an Artifact that has all 54 points completed is equipped. Woah, big move. Why do this after a bunch of people have 10-50 million banked in their 54 artifact? Shall i just carry about 80-400 AP tokens from mythic+7 for half a year to match that, eh? :D I don't understand what this is supposed to accomplish or how it's supposed to do it fairly. ------------------ ![]() ^september Character progression is a core element of World of Warcraft, and that includes PvP. In Legion, empowering your Artifact to become stronger is a key part of character progression. I don't like the new pvp direction. If artifact level from pvp and pve was seperate, maybe. The rewards are not balanced well and it'd be difficult to balance them well enough at the moment. Some pvp specific progression that does not benefit PVE or get rewarded by PVE content would be a relatively easy fix | ||

Also they already reverted the pvp AP 35+ thing. Lol that was fast. 'til next season. It's still planned to have PVP progression in the form of artifact paragon levels -- Aaaaaaaand EU is up more than 3 hours early. I knew this would happen and i'm still not ready to play XD 4 hour maintainence done in 54 mins of downtime ![]() I went from 47% crit to 41.58% with no gear changes, i didn't think that would be so big with all of the changes Order Hall research got sped up by about 2.5x i think | ||

Really happy we still did it on the old patch. I feel like on the new one it should be much easier. Although I am not quite sure how each class is affected. My Mistweaver is getting a considerable buff, Mastery will be flat out 30% stronger. Should be overall hps increase of like 2.5% in raid and 5% in dungeon. Although the effect will be even stronger than the numbers indicate because it is the "fast" part of our heal is affected. We should be great single target healers now. So give us a chance for M+. ![]() Although I think I vendored some items I should have kept considering this buff. Edit: Yay new keystone is +10 teeming, skittish, fortified VoW. I think I will pass on that one. This week will suck. :D | ||
