We wiped for 3 hours on heroic Helya last night. Think my guild still hasn't got the hang of managing phase 3 cleanly. Any tips?

We just put ranged near stairs, melee at the side near wall and then run upstairs w/ the corruption orb which leaves most of the ground clear. Used hero when the first mariner spawns in p3 as well

Oof, stealthy change to Serenity in the ptr which nerfs it quite a bit. Obviously more changes can come but I really dislike this change.

If you got dashes then run up the stairs and jump down, if not then turn around and run back i guess

Awww, just after talking a bit here about the Windwalker legendary cloak, they just " nerf " it.
It doesn't increase the size of the karma shield now, just the damage redirected. No more 6 Million shield on a 90sec CD.

Way easier to deal the full damage in 6sec now tho.

Mine is still increasing the shield. Where'd you hear it wasn't? Or maybe the change just hasn't hit NA yet

I previously expected 7.1.5 patch release before nighthold, maybe a couple weeks before but it seems nowhere near ready in either design or balance. Holding off on playing for the moment..

Basically to summarise this: Serenity shortens the cd of pretty much all your heavy hitters by 50% when you pop Serenity, and then snapshots the reduced cd for the spells you use during Serenity. On PTR however once Serenity ends the cd's go back up. Effectively all Serenity does now (on PTR) is deal 45% more damage on your spells while reducing the cd of your spells by 8 seconds.

I find the bracers change a nerf.

10 dodges would be ~50% stagger removal passively. Now its 10 second cooldown towards brews. In general most BrM already can maintain 100% ISB uptime so this 10 second cooldown is for purifying brew only. But its cooldown is higher than 10 seconds, and it only removes 50% stagger per cast.

This is only a buff if you have the belt that heals when you actually purify. Otherwise its a nerf.

It still is nice compared to other legendaries though, so I can't complain that much.

Edit: Actually the good thing about the bracers now that I think more into it. It is good not for ISB/Purify, but rather Black ox Brew and Fortifying Brew. Having a consistent reduction on both of those make them even more appealing (Black ox is already the best in its line, these bracers would make it even better). Taking Fort from its 3-3.5 min cd to possibly a 2-2.5 min cd would be rather amazing.

Hey they improve secondary stat scaling on trinkets a little. :D
The one thing I have been complaining about most here.

Ring and neck scaling still suck of course but with trinkets it is a problem the most because there are some with main stats and they scale so much better than the other ones.

*raises hand* I'm one of 2 arms warriors in my guild. The other guy was fury at the start of the expansion but switched when his dps was low low low. Probably would've mained prot, but I was just coming back to raiding this expansion after not really having raided since parts of cata/mop, and we already have 2 solid tanks.
