Ah, 1.25x less damage (so a previously fatal 2.9m hit will be 2.32)
The battle.net support system is pretty ridiculous right now.. cannot get through to live chat for a simple server-side issue without jumping through lots of irrelevant hoops (photo ID, dxdiag/msinfo files what?)

I got lucky with legendary #4 - earned 1, 2, 3 with a pretty big gap between them and lots of the drop chance multiplier built up and then the game just drops #4 on me with no build-up time

I did not even know weekly M+ chest loot can also war/titanforge. Learned that because guy in guild got 895 from +8 chest.
Honestly I think that is silly. Item lvl of this reward is already very high from the start (too high kinda). They could have at least limited RNG in this case.

Why do you think it's too high? One 880 per week from level 10 or 885 from level 12 is the same level of gear that you get from EN or TOV at max difficulty and the quantity is fairly limited.
Those also wf/tf/socket; we've gotten an 895 socketed piece of gear from TOV trash already.
The chance for an 870 item (mythic8 weekly chest) to titanforge to 895 is pretty small and also available on every other 870 item

Because it seems very little effort for getting a guaranteed 880. Also 15 item lvls above the loot you get from the dungeon for the respective chest. I mean if it stayed at those 880 or whatever that would be ok, but titanforging possibility on top seems just too much.

Level 8 is i870 in the weekly chest
Level 10+ is actually very hard for people who can't clear anything in mythic EN or heroic TOV
Clearing 10 bosses is ~2.6 items per player per week, that's what you can get from raiding

+10 is not hard since you dont need to do it in time. This week I had a tank on +10 (key owner) that had no idea what the necrotic debuff does. Just face tanked everything, died, DDs finished trash, he got rezzed. Had no idea which mobs to pull in EoA. We were at 80% before last boss. It actually seemed like he never played a M+ before.
And the funny thing is noone cared, all were just super happy to finish this run with several wipes and twice the expected time since all they wanted was the weekly chest.
This kind of stuff is only possible because people are getting boosted with their keys of course.

To be clear I was not talking about the normal M+ loot, which might even be on the low side, but the weekly chest specifically and even more specifically about its titanforging.

25ilvl titanforge will only happen about 1-2 times per player per year from that chest, If you're looking at a whole guild's loot (~100 chest items per month) then it may seem more common than it actually is
I see what you mean with being able to clear one 10 per week with some affix combinations
I think maybe the gear doesn't scale that well with a large chunk of the payoff being relatively easily accessible but putting in 3-5x more time not giving 3-5x the reward after that. It feels maybe a little too strong for normal/heroic level players cheesing through a single L10 on easy affixes but also a little weak vs raid gear for people who can progress on a new difficulty and blow all of their bonus rolls or achieve efficient raid farming and win by sheer volume of items

I dono on the one hand I agree with you because there really are some pretty terrible players doing +9 - 10s who get charity chests and ilevel to go with it.
On the other hand I have gotten one titan forge item from my +10 loot chest and it was something I went ahead and vendored.
I dont see why its a problem with not making the timer and just completing a +10 though. I did that when I was had weaker gear. Now that I have gear I expect to be able to finish them if I can find a grp thats decent.
Its still never going to match people who do mythic raiding in general. Sure there will be outliers, but you have to remember alot of your mythic raiding was also made easier because you went and did those loot chests aswell.

I got 0 upgrades from chests on 3 different chars this week. Last week i got a legendary and one upgrade. Some time before that i got a 895 cape. It's just the same rng as m+ runs but only once a week. I dont see a problem either. There's also no pooling those items unlike running mythics.

Did a Mythic +11 last week (NL with sanguine/overflowing/tyrannical) as a 876 blood DK with no heroic ToV kills and only mythic nyth down (no loot from her tho)

raid boss kills on normal+ difficulty and emissary caches matter a lot - i have ~250-300 of those for legendary farming
just starting to think about alts, could be nice to jump one to ak10-20 instantly, gear to 870 in 3 days and do nighthold normal/heroic splits

130 legion boss kills, which I guess is kinda low, and I don't think I've missed more than 2 or 3 caches. It's kinda understandable but still kinda lame, especially considering my 2 legendaries prior were from the weekly chest which made it all fucked up and now its only giving me boots and wrists. <<

Not many dps warriors around after the start of the expac being so bad for them. And with prot being so strong, lots respecced to tanks.
Windwalkers, well, you have quite a few here somehow, but monks are just not that common.
Talking personnal happenings, just managed to break 883 ilvl and i'm at still at 1/7 MM 0/3 HM.
Of all the gear I have, 90% of it is M+ related, rest is usually trinkets ( Ursoc dps one, dragons healing one, guarm stat stick ) or legendaries lol
You do what you can when you don't have a Mythic level raiding guild sadly.

2 legendaries is a lot more normal than 3 atm, just more people pushing into 3 among the very active side. The people who farm mythic+ while clearing all raid difficulties every week, the lucky people etc. Every week it'll become notably more common and you'll be a lot more likely to get it :D
I logged in yesterday, did world boss and miraculously got my 4'th legendary but then i went to clear normal 7/7 and heroic 7/7 and i actually saw 5-6 more legendaries drop with only ~18 people in the group. That was extremely unusual (my weekly clears normally see one or two) so it left me wondering if it was a bizarre stroke of luck or if something was wonky with the droprates

Additionally, we've reduced the health of several enemies from Phase 2 of the Helya encounter in Normal and Heroic Trial of Valor.
^people replying w/ comments about relative difficulty in 10 man compared to 20 (same amount of dispells etc)
