i feel inclined to post because i was the first to comment on his constant use of ellipsis in the op's linked thread. here's the thing - heart is one matter in posting, and quality is another. disregarding his content (which is, as pointed out before, often inaccurate), since we are all at fault for making shitty posts sometimes: before he was banned from his first account, he had been requested multiple times to change his post formatting. this isn't even an issue of a language barrier or adjusting scenario - the 'spunk' you guys praise him for ignoring all requests comes off as stubbornness and an inability to listen to others. since when can someone completely ignore conventional posting etiquette and make hopelessly ugly posts and expect respect? that being said, that was the second or third time i've pointed out my irritation to him. i know i come off harsh but i'm civil and don't intend for people to continue bashing him, it's just that it's a complete turn-off to come by his posts. the ease with which he could stop it all is added insult to injury. by constantly adding periods, he's doing extra work to specifically attain the convoluted post structure that's grown nearly ridiculous. he hurts himself, too, in that all of his posts end up having the same signature appearance, making all the statistics he quotes and potentially good comments he makes seem identical from post to post. i agree that the flaming stop, but to help us understand him and to allow himself to communicate precisely (necessary to this forum), he really needs to give a little. | ||

I completely agree with the people that have said that it is not so much his writing style that is annoying, it's more about what he writes about that has gotten on my nerves over this...half a year-ish. Looking at the post I quoted, it's clear that nobody has insulted any Koreans in this thread, let alone any other threads, and even if it was an 'insult' (the Matler vs. Holy Nal_Ra threads might have mentioned something about immature /ignorant Koreans or something...) I don't think anyone really HATES Koreans here, being an international website dedicated to coverage and delivering information on the professional Starcraft scene in Korea. Anyway his posts have just been starting to piss me off really badly, it seems like he has no idea what other posters are posting about at all or maybe he's on of the people that don't read any other posts in a thread except the one they want to reply to. Plus the fact that ANY post about ANY other topic than WCG or Boxer will descend into some sort of strange WCG or So1 OSL, Anytime, Koreo-philic post. ok i'm starting to not know what I'm going on about now there's just no way I can truly describe my annoyance with carlodajin. i guess i better stop mocking him though, might get banned. -_-; | ||

IF i TYPED like THIS and IT started PISSING people OFF to THE point WHERE i WAS banned A frequent NUMBER of TIMES, the obvious choice would be to stop, not to continue until the forces of good rally to defend my cause. CD is simply making this more difficult than it has to be | ||
