I don't really think there's something called "better". People buy a mechanical keyboard because it is more comfortable, which is a fact. No, that is not a fact. How something feels is subjective, so because you and other people think its more comfortable, that doesn't mean they are more comfortable to everyone. In fact, to me, dome keyboards are more comfortable to use, but I use the shit out of keyboards and wanted to stop buying a new one every year because they stopped working.
Perhaps saying that they feel better was wrong by me, but I mean it's more tactile (better response) which most ppl think is way more comfortable.

Does anyone know what website Mvp is looking at?

I can recommend (if you can spare the extra cash) a mechanical keyboard. If you don't know what that is, simply google it and know that steelseries, filco, razer etc. make awesome keyboards (recommend the steelseries, or even better the filco, I ahve razer blackwidow myself). They feel fantastic, the tactile feel of a mech. keyboard is amazing. Having said that, I have never tried MVP's keyboard, but I'm quite happy with mine....

Koreans use them because it's cheap (in Korea) and it's Korean made (patriotic to buy your country's own products)
The keyboard doesn't magically make you better, those that sell for $50 each are ripoffs

Does anyone know what earplugs he uses?

The DT-35 is the best non-mechanical keyboard I've ever used. The key height, resistance, etc all feel pretty much perfect. They're a bit expensive to obtain in the US because they aren't normally sold here, but if you ever get to Korea I recommend picking up a couple. They were the equivalent of about $15 USD while I was there. There's a reason people pay $50 - $70 to get them shipped to the US. They really are that good.
That said, I do prefer my mechanical keyboard more. A lot of the progamers over there have been using DT-35s for years and years though so not many want to switch. Some do because of sponsorship reasons, but a lot (like MVP) still prefer to stick with what they're used to.
*EDIT* I'm somewhat of a keyboard nerd so I felt the need to jump in.

Progamers use it because it's cheap and they're familiar with it, especially for ex-BW progamers.

i'd love to get my hands on two cheap of these to make a checker keyboard. Apparently they have good enough quality/price to buy two of them and create my own checker keyboard :D

How has this not been closed yet -_-

bought mine on ebay for ~25 dollars (CAD) better than any other non mechanical keyboard imo and 1/3 of the price of a good mechanical keyboard

Because it's a perfectly viable and respectable thread where people are discussing the subject that is relevant?...

Bought a Steelseries 6Gv2 a little over a year ago. Piece of shit broke a couple of months ago. The rubber dome kb I'm using now came with a computer I bought in 2003 and has been in use ever since. No problems with it.

First TT1 post I've seen in awhile that hasn't been complete shit, he's absolutely right. The keyboard is just a cheap standard keyboard, the reason it's popular with pros in Korea is that it's super cheap (not the case if you're a foreigner), easy to find and they're used to it because a lot of them have been using them for years.

That said, 6Gv2 isn't exactly the keyboard people have in mind when they think of the high quality of mechanical keyboards... 6Gv2 is so cheap that it's questionable if you can even call it a mechanical keyboard, even though it obviously is

I would not call the Steelseries keyboard cheap, and the price does not have to mean a keyboard is bad. At least the key switches themselves are all the same, so the most important part of the keyboard will be fine, no matter the price. The Steelseries feels much more robust than my Cherry G80-3000 I bought about ten years ago. A new Cherry G80-3000 only costs around 55 € at the moment (in Germany), and it still works and feels the same it always did after ten years of use.

Q-Senn DT-35, used only because it is very economical and does the job over there ( I think $5 a keyboard over there ) not because there is anything special about it. It costs $35 to get it in the US, this pretty much eliminates its value and thus there is no reason to really get one.
