The Xbox360 is also the favorite console of nerds. Among Koreans, it's probably the wii. Most of the koreans I know don't own consoles because they just came from Korea, or they are all on the PC. Koreans are also cheap, so they do not want to pay $60 for a game, therefore they play PC games, mostly free PC games. Also, mobile games are more popular among Koreans than all of the above(in the US), which is why WCG is going mobile games only. Lol, should be lucky they don't live in Norway. A brand new game for 360/PS3 is 100$. No joke. And even for Wii and handheld it's more than 60. Ok, on to the question, this could be asked to japanese-americans too, I suppose. Basically, how do you feel about the recent surge of South Korea in worldwide pop culture? Are you at all offended or annoyed by non-koreans being obsessed with korea and its culture, but in a superficial way (such as "wapanese" people, or weeabos, but with Korea, obviously).

How do you feel about relying on your parents to be the font of knowledge and authority concerning the racial hierarchy of the world? I don't really care. I just love the fact that Koreans are owning everyone else at Starcraft. And I feel great pride in that.

Otherwise, I might start feeling bad.

I used to be like fuck you! Don't make kpop into the new Britney spears, to woot! Korean influence is rising in the world. To now, I love it. Because only Chinese girls really listen to kpop/watch korean dramas. And this means that you get to meet plenty of cool Chinese chicks who share something in common with you, therefore you have an easier time connecting to plenty of the hot chinese chicks very fast.

Stop stealing our women! Average Korean be better dressed than the average Chinese. Unfair advantage srsly. How do Korean girls feel about Chinese guys liking KPop and Korean culture? You think we do the reverse?

I can't speak for the entire world, I can only speak of the foreigners in America who like K-pop. The people who aren't asian, that I know, who like K-pop, are losers. Like no Korean out there likes German music or African music. You only like that shit if you are a loser, who tries to be cool/connect with others because you've been outcasted by your own race. Therefore, I don't like these people. Also it annoys me that people try to be like/dress like asians when they are not asian. It's not natural, and they are trying too hard.

My family would be considered to be in the 1% of the U.S. population in terms of wealth, but even this is considered really poor, for the average Korean American. (From my view of the world, since I have only lived in rich suburbs my entire life, and all my korean school mates are richer than I am.) Technically speaking, my family makes like over $120K per year at the least, and don't pay taxes because my dad is a freelancer and therefore puts unemployed on his whatever he does for taxes, and takes 100% of what he makes. My mom works for a Korean company, which means that they do some underhanded dealings where she only makes "minimum wage." They give her most of her wages in cash. I'm not sure if you should be publicly sharing information about the fraud your parents are committing.

I really dislike these people. They don't even understand at all normal korean culture. Just those corporation picked idols :| And yeah. That much tax evasion is felony tax fraud :

What is it like being in korea as a foreigner? Are you fluent in korean? No, I hate them because I don't believe in inter-racial marriages. White must marry with white, chinese with chinese, japanese with japanese, koreans with korean, black with black. I don't know about Korea now, but back then, Korean people were very racist, and I'm sure a lot of them are still racist. You have an uphill battle trying to fit in/emerge into Korean culture. Other Koreans will put up a wall when dealing with foreigners. The whole "nice" thing is a wall they put up too. Koreans act differently around foreigners than they do around other koreans.

Why are you against interracial marriage? Although I respect your right to feel that way, disliking interracial marriage purely on the basis of color is quite odd nowadays, and is considered sort of racist/antique.

I'm not a girl, so I wouldn't know. But I've never seen Korean girls hook up with Chinese guys. They hook up with white/black guys more than chinese guys. Sad, but yet true story. Chinese girls are more accepting of Korean guys because they are usually hotter, and there's that OMG korean guys are so cool from the kpop and kdrama they watch. (Yes, you watch K-pop. It's visual music.)

Why is it so important to be the best at things for you koreans? Why is not happy and being ok in someting alright? Is there and how is slackers treated in korea? How are you dealing with weakminded people and unintelligent people in Korea? I got ADD and dont think I would have a chance seeing how competetive you are and only the best is good enough. How do you deal with people like me with neurodevelopmental disabilities?

I have already screenshotted and forwarded the relevant information to the IRS. Everyone needs to do their part to get beautiful America out of its current conundrum. It's absolutely not fair that your parents are dodging their fair share of the burden while probably buying as many foreign-produced goods as they can like a parasitic leech on the ass of Lady Liberty. I bet your living room is cluttered with Samsungs and your driveway clogged with Hyundais.
