StarCraft and WarCraft were still originally meant to be games for Games Workshop until they revoked their rights. Since Blizzard didnt want to completely start from the beginning again they changed it so they could call it their own creation. Not that thats necessarily a bad thing, we all know those games are still great in their own right :>. Edit: in retrospect I'm not even sure about StarCraft being a WH40k project originally, but I'm pretty sure about WarCraft. | ||
