Also I'm really curious about this MVP thing, they're kind of known for quickly picking up teams and lots of them without second thought. They used to have 3 LoL teams out of nowhere and then when WoT and Dota2 had their appearance in Korea they picked up several teams aswell and now they even have 2 female LoL amateur teams, and their neo-KeSPA SC2 team of course. Wouldn't even surprise me if this team was actually under the MVP flag of the Korean team, with their logo and name and everything being seemingly being the same. | ||

http://br.leagueoflegends.com/pt/news/esports/esports-event/bem-vindos-ao-circuito-brasileiro-2014 My Portuguese isn't great but here's the gist of it: - qualifiers are this weekend, the actual league starts on April 26th - Keyd, Pain, Kabum & CNB received a bye to the final stages of the qualifiers - ~ $45k prize pool - 6 teams in Bo2 round robin format; 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw - 1st week is held in Porto Alegre, the other 4 weeks are online - top 4 from the round robin advance to the playoffs held in Fortaleza on June 7th-8th | ||

Meanwhile, Forg1ven got fined for getting tons of reports and toxicity in solo queue. I will never understand why do Riot go so hard on players for acting like childs in solo queue, honestly. It was never a problem in DotA and i doubt that it was/is/will be a problem in LoL. I think they do it for brand protection honestly. Sports organizations are notorious for fining players for being out of line (in the nfl wearing the wrong shoes can land you a $15,000 fine). If Riot feels one of their employees is reflecting poorly on their brand they'll fine him. I don't know if I agree with it, it probably depends on how damaging the rage Forg1ven puts out would be if it got to sponsors. Forg1ven hasn't been limited to raging in soloqueue either - after super week he basically said that his teammates are shitters and he's sick of carrying them from botlane. Hilariously, it's essentially the truth, but he's a real dumbass for posting it publicly on twitter. | ||

Obviously punishment depends on the quantity and quality of the misbehavior. And you are in no position to judge this except you have acess to all of the reports of these players. But I agree that the LoL community is not that problematic, especially when compared to other gaming communities. They just whine more about toxicity than everyone else, probably comes with the report system. That is not necessarily a bad thing though. | ||
