That's why I respect Jinro so much. Instead of being given a free seed to Code A, he's been working his ass off for months trying to get through the grueling Code A qualifiers just to get into Code A. Invitations are stupid in a non-invitational tournament with classes like Code S and A. At least before for a Code S spot, a foreigner had to beat Koreans (or at least get top three) to be put into Code S. Now they're just giving them away to the foreigners who are popular/do well at international tournaments.

While I understand that there's a need to discuss this matter, this thread has way too many trash posts in it. Please think carefully about what you want to say. Ad hominem attacks on Swedish people in general, calling you fellow Starcraft fans idiots etc etc will be dealt with with harsher punishment from here on out. Keep it civil people. Page 230: Here's some more stuff that'll get you banned! - Conspiracy theory mongering about MLG and GOM - Comparing people to Hitler - Posting useless one liners of arguments that have already been repeated ad nauseum.

The game: ![]() The player during game: ![]() If you guys still say that Naniwa play was legitimate and didn't disrespect the viewers and his opponent you might as well go to Seoul stand before a random korean and spit on his face. (In reality dont even think about doing this)

The whole exchange program is a pure business thing, the guy does NOT stand a chance of getting my sympathies for this kind of decision. He needed foreigners to gain viewers, massively. Now he's just getting pissed because they don't hold up to his purely Asian standards of respect, probably even a purely Korean one when it comes to Starcraft. This is the GLOBAL Starcraft II League. Do not get pissed because people come from a background where this shit is not that big of a deal when you don't have absolutely clear rules about it. Warn him and make a rule afterwards. How hard is that? Exactly. I hate mr Chae because he is a huge hypocrite. How can anyone defend the guy when he publicly trash talks Naniwa? How can people be so naive to think that he invites foreigners only to be some kind of a nice guy promoting Esports? He knows SC2 isn't cutting it in korea and he is willing to do anything to make more money and his next move is clearly giving code s seeds to Sen and Idra, two players with huge fanbases. Also it's clear that he sees foreigners as inferior people, anyone saying anything different is blind.

And probably im even older than most people here.. Now, for real, if you think GOM is right, you should change something in your life. I dont know what, but something. And fast. I always think about that too. How can this generation who lives in the most rapidly fucking itself up world since ever be so conservative. In this case though has to do with TL being partially filled with nerds who really like to hate things that remember them of the cool guys who got the girls they wanted. -Racism claims are absolutely and completely retarded, unfounded, and disgusting. How the hell can you claim any degree of racism considering GOM has a close relationship with a foreigner SC2 organization, it has consistently given foreigners the chance to participate freely in their tournaments, even bypassing the hell that is qualifiers, they have also hired foreigner casters to provide english commentary, and have brought their tournament to Blizzcon. And no, it's not about money. Racism is illogical and irrational, hence racist people just won't do this kind of thing. Were Mr. Chae racist, none of the above would happen, not in a million years. This is obviously up to the mods, but claiming racism without a solid argument should be a bannable offense. How can your mind work this way? Racism isn't some direct "Oh, I hate this people!" mindset like you think it is when you're 13 and watched American History X, in this case, it's more of a "I'm better than these people" mindset.

If this goes thru I am not purchasing de pass as protest. And I'll buy one to make up for it. GOM chose to do the right thing even though they knew it would be an unpopular decision, good for them. It's not like he's permanently banned from the GSL. Besides, I'd rather see Sen in Code S than Naniwa anyway, so it doesn't detract from the viewing pleasure at all imo. You hate Mr. Chae because he punished someone who spit on the reputation of what he works hard to promote and run? He's one of the nicest people you'll meet and definitely does not think foreigners are inferior people rofl, if a Korean player had done something similar you'd see just as much backlash from his end.

Did you fail your history test? They surrendered after being hit with 2 atomic bombs. It's not like they new ahead of time that US bombers will smash two of their cities. If they knew it for sure, they would have surrendered. That's why they surrendered just after being bombed.

Its a little harsh by our standards, but anyone going down to Korea knows from past stories that they are not so keen on any form of disrespect. Sportsmanship is part of the deal. Nani seems like a decent guy and is a very dedicated player of the game - but he has no one else to blame, has manned up and taken the blame. He knew the way the Koreans were and just to do a worker rush was a lack of (or a slip of) discipline on his part.
