the starcraft community berates almost every other game under the guise of "less skilled" its like when people hate on league of legends being worse than dota/hon when they don't even play moba games, they just jump on the bandwagon

and the most ironic part? they are doing this all when the same lines can be drawn between brood war and starcraft 2

like slasher said, support the games you like and respect the ones you don't, there are far more percentile of sc2 fans that shit on halo than halo people shit on sc2, especially when alot of the top sc2 pros have said time and time again how the other mlg game communities respect starcraft and even play it.

The Starcraft community is a bunch of unstylish nerds? Well at least most of us aren't 12 year old boys that tell eachother were going to rape eachother. (Which is exactly what they were complaining about.)

I do agree though on some points. We are egotistical, we are obsessed in a sense. But shit, I don't care if you call me egotistical. BW becamse a legitimate sport in another country, Halo is a game everybody plays when their gf isn't around. I would think SC is a better "game" then and I'm going to stick by that opinion.

But yeah I agree Slasher isn't stylish, lolol.

so quite frankly idc. ofc i disagree with them but they're joking around on a show trying to entertain people. if you asked them in a published interview, what do you think about sc2, they'll be like oh yeah it's a great game.

if you got a sc2 show to talk about halo we'd be like thats a joke, consoles a joke, and cs is way better.

I dont understand what they have against the gracket. Also, there are a lot of fashionable starcraft players. If anything I feel like the Halo community should be angry at bungie, for almost massacring their scene. I don't think anyone should be that upset about it, I think its fair to say starcraft requires a lot more time than halo. If anything, we should be upset that slasher is scene as a representation of the SC2 community.

Yes, they bashed our dress style, basically as a small joke, but otherwise anything else mentioned about the starcraft community was pretty much respect for the growth of the community, skill of the players and most importantly the dedication of the fans. It's not really up to me deciding which sports become big, so if people are watching halo on stage, thats alright. I have sc2 to watch on up to 4 streams at a barcraft otherwise I go practice myself for my own local tournaments etc.

Could have been a better delivery, but I was really interested in hearing something from a different perspective instead of off TL. The jabs were minimal and nothing compared to how we bash console shooters.
