Not so much anymore, but for many years it was at the top around the globe. To say something like you did, you obviously weren't involved in the CS scene. I'm pretty sure that Mity said that Quake and CS are much better than Halo, not that all three of them are laughable excuses. He was comparing Halo to other FPS games, and said that Halo doesn't measure up. I think you agree with him, at least in the respect that CS is top-tier in e-sports history ![]()

But just to play along... all the BW guys as stated, MKP, Bomber, MMA all look like fashion models and sport some cool styles... all the korean players in general seem to have amazing hairstyles. Even some foreigner have some cool fashion like Sase, stephano's funky urban look, jinro's frohawk, etc... ![]()

In all seriousness, I almost feel bad for them. Their favorite game is declining pretty hard, and even if I don't like it at all I have to feel for them. It's also somewhat called for after some pretty bad BM at MLGs, but still pretty immature. Honestly I have to thank TL.net for forcing the community to be more mature, because I can't think of more than a couple of personalities in the SC community who would make videos like this. Granted, I don't know much about Halo's community so I can't say whether these guys are fringe or not. At least Dmaq seemed to try to ameliorate the situation, but the other guy was pretty bad. I really do hope that they can save their community, but this seemed to be a series of bad decisions where neither scene is going to come out on top. :C EDIT: SaSe's hat???? Are you really going to talk about the hat? Have you seen the Koreans' keyboards for GSL? Holy shit those things are handsome.

These guys made me a fan. Talking shit is fine. Other games are fine too. But I think starcraft is the best game ever made. Stop trying to tell me your not doing this for fame, and all those other youtube "like" strategies. you won me over with talking shit.

Nexy is an unprofessional douche, so is dmac, and gandhi is a washed up pro/average caster that are all butthurt that SC has stolen the MLG spotlight. It is sad to see the Halo community die, but it is due to Bungie making each Halo game more and more casual. It was frustrating to watch as a fan of MLG and a fan of Halo.

Why would we sympathize we these people? A) the halo community is so small we gain nothing from it B) they just come across as douche bags. I do NOT want these type of people in the sc2 community, they can stay put with their dying old game while we flourish with 100k tournaments every month. Was anyone else in the chat at the MLG/redbull practice event? was just loads of halo players ripping on starcraft players, using generic insults like nerd etc. Again, we shouldn't want these people in our community. I care 0.00000% about these generic "halo bros" and what they think of a real competitive game and it's community/better that is larger than theirs.

Bisu, Jaedong, and Nada...are not all that and a bag of chips. Im sorry, but you all have been mistaken. You may now apologize for my inconvenience.

This is what the entire thing started with. They are just trying to get the Halo community fired up. They are only praising SC2. That trash talking video was just unprofessional and random. This video is what it's actually about.

When did the SC2 community become this hivemind that either has to absorb or reject other communities. Are you forgetting that 1 year ago SC2 was up and comer while Halo was the big dog at MLG? And they don't want to be part of the SC2 community, all they are trying to do is start a spark in their own community. If anything they look at starcraft for inspiration and are trying to emulate the success (creating more content/streaming). This mentality of we're the big dog so we can bully everyone else is disgusting. You don't have to accept these people, but don't shit all over there attempts to start their own community simply because yours is bigger.

Dmaq works on Halo. But anyway, the Redbull Lan was filled with people bashing Halo too. Way more so.
