On a more serious note: They need to up the rate at which units go in/out of a nydus worm. They aren't really viable for true play because if you only build one it's so hard to get your army out before the enemy kills it, and vice versa for retreating. And as you have pointed out multiple nydus is so expensive you can't do it unless you are bm'g and way ahead. Increasing the unit throughput would make the nydus a more useful tool.

start to dance banelings in front of marines > this. Especially since you could cause a crash with to many nydus which would result in a draw xD. I wouldn't consider those moves bad manner really ... just not mannered like the manner pylon.

A Nydus Network can only spawn 1 worm at a time. You need multiple networks (200/200 each).

Thats why people opt for drops - although its much harder to spot a nydus than 15 overlords moving across the edges of the map..
A better way to BM is to make 50 overseers and poop changelings all over their stuff - and also send in all your workers to fight rofl

Does the game still crash if you build 20 Nydus Worms?

Better: make nyduses on your creepspread spelling out LoL and then save up enough that you can spell LOL in nydus worms in their base. This would take 16 nydus networks to execute completely, or you could do 8 and hope you could finish the thing before they destroyed it.

2. enough money AND time to build said nydus worms?

Can't wait to do this on the ladder now haha, has a real zerg feeling to it when all the worms pop up in someones base at the same time, along with a swarm of zerg units. :D

Have not tried this but can you use a teammate's nydus worm? That would actually be really cool if one player builds a fast nydus and all other build mass zerglings and then 2 nydus at each of your opponent's bases...

Can be fun in tourneys, because there is also a big audience watching, and entertainment value goes way up, so does the notoriety of the player. In your own games : what's the point?

Nope you can't.
But what you can do is Neural Parasite a probe, build mass collossus, put collossus into the nydus network, and nydus the opponent's main.
Suddenly, LAZOR BEAMS coming out a FRICKIN SPACE WORM.

The point is that sometimes you're angry after being cheesed 10 times in a row and you just want to kill your opponent with a spoon while taunting him to let off steam :p.

I think that's a part of the reason why people are doing it. If they had to play the same player again you'd know he'd just lift his buildings and float them to ever corner of the map every time you meet.

nothing new here, its as old as the beta.... I suppose to lowbies that haven't seen it in a tournament play it might be new.

Right that does it, this is my new team game strat.
Mass roach and get multiple nydus worms, use protoss obs or terran imba scan for vision into enemy main and mass nydus. It would be even better if i could spell out LOL or EZ with them.......

This is awesome. Protoss is the race really lacking in ingame BM, I've been throwing down the manner Fleet Beacon as of late.

Btw it was so long time ago since I played zerg I've forgot; what happens if you kill the "entrence" of the nydas worm if you have the head of the nydas deployed? Can you still unload them out of the head?

No, what you have to do is line up zerglings to form an LOL, then burrow them at a Terran's third. It may cost a few extra minerals, but their reaction once they scan to land their orbital is priceless.
