How to display FPS? (ctrl+alt+f not working)

Crtl+alt+f doesnt do anything (I know the fps should pop up in the top left corner, I've seen screenshots of this) Is there maybe some other wy to swithc it on? Or can I reassign this shortcut? Maybe another one works better? Regards & thx in advance...

Apparently some sort of hotkey conflict... maybe windows catches ctrl+alt+f before it even arrives in starcraft or somehting.... (Stranegly pressing ctrl+alt+f in windows does nothing though )
