Zergs will have to fungal+carpet bane the colossi balls, which is powerful enough as is. I think neural was cool, but in the current state of the game it'll be a welcome help which will allow protoss to win some games vs zergs. vs terran I don't know, perhaps it'll make mech op. It's a minor change anyway, even if neuraling massive units was the major use of neural, most of the time it wasn't needed to win. | ||

Also what was not fair about infestors taking over battlecruisers/carriers/broodlords? Imo the change should only affect Colossi/Thors, everything more than that basically makes neural parasite useless in most real game scenarios. | ||

Fungal + Roach and laugh your way to victory And archons are 300 gas. Remember that zerg has a superior economy and protoss needs to be cost effective to have a chance. | ||

I'm really really happy with this patch, can't complain about a thing and the neural parasite nerf is absolutely brilliant. It was one of the things that made nerf alittle OP, NP'ing collo's and archons our anchor unit would just end up with toss' armies getting owned. | ||

I definitely don't think this the case for Terran, MANY of their units are multi purpose / utility. Very few of them have "specific" uses. I don't understand why you would try to take away from the game to fix balance issues. Just makes the game more stale imo - NPs are awesome to watch in a big battle and quite micro intensive compared to say... corruptors :/ | ||

You can still NP tanks + the "NP'ed units retain upgrades" fix should make it still quite scary. Add in the blueflame nerf, and the fact that Mech is still immobile as shit, and it should be ok ![]() | ||
