Most are but they don't have to be. I scoured a bunch of rules and even put up the disclaimer in case it wasn't allowed but due to the fact that this thread is still up as well as the fact that there are also fan clubs for teams I'm going to say that the majority are but it is perfectly fine for a fan club to not be for a specific player. ProPosters (HotBid) as well as Teams (EG and Slayers) have been accepted into the sanctum of the Fan Club.

I guess next we will get a Riku fanclub even though she has maybe one post in her entire history that is about SC2? He makes good blogs, but I don't see why he should have a fanclub. If you like what he does you can easily support him by just posting in the blogs he writes.

I believe he deserves a fanclub (and then made one for him) because he is evolving the metapost in new ways and is one of the few proposters out there that has been able to climb the blogladder while preforming well in both prose and arts and crafts posting. He revolutionized the community. Sure he might not be a ProGamer but he is a ProPoster. If you think Proposting doesnt have a following then i invite you to look at Starcraft2 just last year when we would have never imagined the current level of following that Starcraft2 has. I think that making fanclubs for our favorite ProPosters is the first step to creating a following and making sure that the best of the best ProPosters will be able to make it in this hard blogging atmosphere.

I think, SirJolt did for the metapost what Spanishiwa did for the zerg metagame. His blogs can be viewed as if Boxer would stream his best games. As Day[9] has a great following for being a procaster, others follow proposters.

Do you know what you are doing when you retire from your proposter career? Are you going to be a postcoach or a postcaster?

Its shameful to ask such questions. SirJolt is in his posting prime. His punctuation micro is off the charts and have you seen his WPM i think his vocabulary micro is ever evolving and he is such a good proposter that he doesnt need to postcoach. My question is when will he streampost?

Its only a matter of time before he starts metaposting with the Koreans. He might not have the mechanics yet, but nobody has more innovative posting builds than him.
Its as if an Irish electrician and a Swedish woman had twins and then each brought one up by themself. Hmm, SirJolt, if that picture is anything to go by (and it clearly is) you must have Australian forefathers. Note the WWI ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) badges on his collar, as well as the distinctive rakish tilt of his hat. I can only then assume that you were fettered over the ocean to dreary Ireland at a young age in some form of reverse convict transportation. Heaven knows what crime you committed.
