vVv Gaming is proud to announce the newest member of the StarCraft 2 team: vVv desRow!
Marc-Olivier “desRow” Proulx is a well-known player on TeamLiquid and in the StarCraft 2 community because of the hours he devotes to coaching other players and through his phenomenal play on the Blizzard.net ladders. Previously a Warcraft III player, desRow switched to StarCraft 2 when the title launched. With a laundry list of top four placements in both LAN and online competitions, his skills as both a player and a coach make him an important new addition to the vVv lineup. Plus, he will add a certain Canadian spark that the current vVv Gaming SC2 team is lacking!
"desRow is a great player and a phenomenal coach," commented vVv's StarCraft 2 Manager: vVv Roar. "He has succesfully made a name for himself in StarCraft 2 and we look forward to seeing him do great things with vVv.”
When asked for a comment, desRow stated, "I am honored for the opportunity to join vVv Gaming. As a full-time competitive gamer it is very important for me to know that I have an entire community behind me supporting me and helping me achieve success. I'd like to thank my fans for their loyal support and thank vVv gaming for welcoming me with open arms and making me a part this awesome community."
PS. You don't have to get rid of the lumberjack beard, just clean it up a bit.
Edit: I find it kinda funny that half the comments in this thread say something about his beard, which is completely off topic. Meh, i guess thats how TL rolls.

And what a neckbeard lol
What you think all players should strive to join the "best" teams in NA and should dump their teams as they get better instead of making their teammates and communities better? Manner up, bro.
Desrow will be a great addition and we are elated to have him! desrow fighting!!

I think he got kicked.
Ah, I see. In who's place is desRow going to take? vVv lineup is Rigid, Murder, Titan, NGry, Time and some other random I forgot.
He's being added, he's not taking anyones place. I believe he's the 7'th in their A team unless i'm mistaken.
I believe him and VT didn't get along very well and he eventually left is what I have read alot, but I have also read he got kicked. Either way he joined a better team that just doesn't get the recognition they should have yet for some reason ^^.

I think the trolls are getting more subtle. You don't start an SC2 gaming team with sponsors and not have the intention of your players winning tournaments.

Oh yeah... because you know about that right ? You have the skills to make that kind of comment right ? That's what I thought =)

Haha, let's all keep it civil, vVv and the TL community .
Unlike other teams such as EG, vVv has not had anyone who has had the luxury of dedicating themselves to SC2 full time. Even so, many of us have had strong tournament results, and we have competed on the highest level in clan wars. With the addition of desRow, and some of our members planning to go full time in the near future, you will see vVv performing well in events like MLG within the year.
Also, some of our members who do not plan to become pro gamers (e.g., myself) have plans to contribute more to the SC2 community in the form of videos, streaming, blogging, etc. to help others improve .
Wow what's with these offensive comments from people :S
I've been watching quite abit of his stream lately and I must say that he inspires me in many ways. Good luck to both vVv and desrow, I hope to see more of you!

Not with vVv anymore now either...
What's the story behind this?
Not sure. From his twitter:
desRowfighting Marc-Olivier Proulx Not going to MLG, Not streaming for 7days until my internet bandwith is reset, Not with vVv anymore. BUT It's sunny and beautiful outside =D
It is not vVv's Gaming policy to discuss our decisions with players. We understand everyone is curious. Desrow is a great player but in many ways his chemistry with our players and organization were not a good fit. It really is that simple. We wish Desrow the best of luck.

I got along fine with every player on vVv. Me and vVv had miscommunication regarding MLG Columbus and it wasn't meant to be. LordJerith is an awesome CEO and theyre a pretty solid organisation overall. Thanks for the interest.
