For me, as a spectator, I hate to say it, but I'm glad that EG stood their ground here. The time is coming where teams have to choose. Are they involved in the NA scene, or are they involved in the Korean scene, or are they involved in the EU scene. If you want to try play both/all 3, you have to be ready to put up with the higher pings. If you're dedicated to ONE scene, where that single scene is the only source of prize money, thats fine too, you should be able to expect an advantage over those teams that are trying to milk three cows at once.

Since no European team issued this concern other than Team Liquid, we did not feel it appropriate to impose the rule on everyone which would just further complicate scheduling and broadcasting. Additionally, it should be noted that our ruleset did and does allow teams to play on either BattleNet region if both teams agree upon it. o.o now thats what I call transparency Good stuff from EG, I remember the last masters cup got almsot 20k viewers which was at or around the record back then, and everyone loves Scoot's spaceship studio. ![]()

GO ROOT. I think this format may suit them a little, with the history with 2v2s in BW, especially when combined with the raw stopping power of Kiwikaki, Minigun and Slush, which the tactician in TvT that is Drewbie. I can see ROOT doing well here, which may come as a surprise to others that haven't kept track of them in previous clan-battles.

I think the A line up of Root would be Kiwi, Drewbie, Catz, Slush.

Are all the matches going to take place at once, or will each match be played individually like GCPL? And what's the format going to be?
