Despite every European team agreeing to the ruleset without any concern, Team Liquid requested we make a rule that forced teams to alternate between servers from game to game for NA/EU and NA/KR matches. Since no European team issued this concern other than Team Liquid, we did not feel it appropriate to impose the rule on everyone which would just further complicate scheduling and broadcasting. Additionally, it should be noted that our ruleset did and does allow teams to play on either BattleNet region if both teams agree upon it.
AFAIK no other "European" team has players all across the world in NA, EU, and KR..

Oh well ce la vie
Did you read what he was responding to?
He was providing an short unexplained ambiguous statement in response to EG's ambiguous statement unexplained about Team Liquid being invited but rejecting the invitation..

Considering how Liquid is doing lately, I actually could understand not inviting them. edit: nvm, thats not even why W/e. Yeah it sucks they aren't there, big deal. They're plenty of good teams in the league though

What does it matter if some team don't get invited.. TL got their teams busy with other stuff anyway. And even if Liquid hasn't been performing lately, that would not be the reason for them not getting invited...

actually the initial explanation was pretty straightforward and that is what it was "they chose not to participate". When Tyler said that they chose not to accommodate them that was the real "ambiguous" statement. No reason to spin it lol..
Anyway it's no big deal.. both teams I'm sure don't have any ill will to each other, I just think that statements like that might fan the flames for trolls to make it seem that way

I think this format may suit them a little, with the history with 2v2s in BW, especially when combined with the raw stopping power of Kiwikaki, Minigun and Slush, which the tactician in TvT that is Drewbie. I can see ROOT doing well here, which may come as a surprise to others that haven't kept track of them in previous clan-battles.
The 2v2 is probably going to favor EG the most if you ask me. Axslav and Strifecro are like, the best 2v2 team around, they went undefeated with ease in that machinima realm invitational, and they were basically top of the ladder whenever they found time to play. They were also known to be one of the best 2v2 teams in WC3.

TBH, unless the casters can cast at times amenable to players worldwide, it may be better to include only 2 timezone regions of the world (the 3 being americas, europe, and asia). Just see how disgruntled the Koreans are with NASL (having to get up in middle of the night just to play their games).
Liquid has players all over the world: * Asia: Huk, Jinro, Haypro * Europe: TLO, Ret * Americas: Tyler and Nazgul usually doesn't play
Liquid should consider getting another two players in Europe/Americas to maximize their representation in team leagues.

Although the problem of course is that their players' locations aren't really static. For instance, TLO and Ret moving from Korea back to Europe.

There isn't any reason not to give the teams the OPTION.
When you don't work a day-job, and you're a gamer, sleep-timings can be pretty erratic at the best of times.
If my source of income required me to wake up at 4:00am, I'd do it. In the same sense, if my source of income required me to play 10 hours of games per day, I'd do it.
Lets not "sympathise" with pro gamers that whinge about waking up early/staying up late. They're living dreams right now. I'd hardly liken it to the life of a shift working nurse, or a courier driver.
Give them the option. If they don't like it, don't agree to it. If you can get enough income elsewhere, all the more power to you. If you can't, better start thinking about joining "the real world.".... Or become a musician, then whinge about having to travel so much. See where I'm going?

Wooot love it. Can we have individual videos of team managers/players badmouthing opposing teams? Can you imagine Sir Scoots vs Catz/Drewbie on a black background giving a thumbs down to the opposing team? Sexy.
![[image loading]](http://nasl.tv/Public/Images/Players/Large/Ace_436.jpg) Like this except even cockier
Also typing /dance needs to be mandatory when you are clearly winning. Team leagues should be BM ENCOURAGED.

Someone here is spreading misinformation, and I have a slight hint that it is not Colbi...

Tyler spreading Hate against EG, like some people in these forums.... Way to be biased, Liquid, why people hating on EG don't get warnings/bans?

best of ones is interesting. good to see another team league tho

i hope to see axslav/strifecro in 2v2 for EG

Wow no Liquid why you hating Liquid EG?

It's a shame an agreement couldn't be reached to allow for Liquid to participate but oh well. Looking forward to this anyways, hopefully all goes well and Liquid/EG can make it work for the second cup.

I'm fine with the option, as long as it's noted that players in the 3rd timezone region are going to be at a disadvantage.
We don't know yet whether this is going to be live-casted or replay-casted, but regardless, at least some players will be playing at bad times for them.
