Or: Wish for infinite wishes: Wish that the Genie could interpret exactly what you mentally visualize with the wish and only execute that mentally envisioned wish. the second part of the infinite wish may work, but the first part does not. the obvious loophole the inifinite wish wish the genie exploits is that you don't specify your interaction with the wishes. are you the one making them or granting them? and the genie easily switches places with you so you become burdened with his curse. the $5 breadbox has all kinds of problems in that you specify that though the rest of the world remains the same, the breadbox does not. he can therefore make the breakbox unable to open/close or more likely as you specify the money is created from thin air he can make the transformation process of air into money have seriously negative biproducts such as the air inside the breadbox becomes noxious or rapidly increases global warming. not to mention the problems with inflation already mentioned. if you want money, i think your best course is to buy a lottery ticket, say I wish all these numbers hit [specifically state whenever the drawing is and the title of the drawing (i.e. so if you buy megamillions, he makes megamillions hit with those numbers and not superbucks)] and that although others buy lottery tickets at the normal rate with the normal frequency of winners and distribution of prizes, I am the only person to buy a ticket where all numbers match (this is to both prevent fraud investigations and ensure 6,000,000 don't make a claim to the jackpot piecing it out so you have almost nothing -- though i'd likely need to talk to someone about statistics to make sure to use language including standard deviations as the genie can otherwise claim that results that would incur suspicion were within statistical possibility despite their severe improbability) for [again speciffically state drawing] and the world is otherwise left unchanged and nothing makes me ineligible to accept the prize (you can also change yourself to be eligibile for the prize if for whatever reason you're currently ineligible for accepting lottery prizes here). personally, i don't think i'd make any wish without first consulting a lawyer to make sure i used the correct terminology, and my wish would likely be for the ability to fastforward and rewind life while retaining knowledge as i experience things and create an infinite number of save points so that i can easily recreate and restore any moment i wish. this ability would have heavy potential for abuse and negative effects to my psyche, hubris, and esteem as a result. honestly i likely would abuse it, so maybe the genie wouldn't mess with my intent. ;-) | ||

Hmm, I see what you're getting at: Perfect defense through a thoroughly specific wish... I suppose it depends on the environment conditions, but for this situation, it was mentioned that the genie was previously human and can still make human mistakes... One example could be "your wish is too long for me to remember." Either way, the environmental conditions set by the OP make it impossible for wishes to come out perfect. Edit: Fixed bolding. | ||

Useless genie is useless and illogical. Gobacktolamp, you have failed at troll and broker the rules. The genie needs to make a wish that corresponds logically with what was asked. The genie therefore broke the contracts of his own game. I complain to his manager and he promptly gets canned. | ||
