Just want to point out that your wish didn't specify.

Granted, unfortunately everyone else turned it in blank and you still end up failing.
I wish I was better at playing protoss

DONE. You are now not allergic to cats. Or wait, no, not any more, you didn't specify for how long. Mere seconds after your wish was granted, even as you finished typing it, you revert back to normal. Your wish was wasted on 3 seconds of not being allergic to cats. You kill yourself in despair at your failure.

lol i don't see how that ruins my wish i'd be more than happy with that outcome curve baby, yeah XD
your wish is granted, you're a better protoss player now. in starcraft 1. unfortunately, right before you have the chance to prove your newfound skills against an A+ adversary, blizzard shuts down bnet1 and patches sc1 to take away lan access to "fit its successor model". you're restricted to playing computers for the rest of your life with your newfound skills

Yeah, for some classes, it doesn't work this way. For large lectures, the teacher curves it so that the class average is some pre-determined grade (usually anywhere from a B- to a B+). So if everyone else turned in a blank test and JeeJee got at least one question right, then the best case scenario is that he gets an A+. The worst case scenario is the teacher says wtf, gives the class a long talk about the test trying to figure out what happened, and then probably makes everyone take it again.

I wish for a wand of wishing with infinite charges.
I wish to become god.
How about just screwing the genie over: I wish for a genie to be teleported to the other side of an event horizon of a black hole at this very instant.
wish granted, the wand of wishing will not fulfill wishes though. wish granted, you become a figment of peoples imagination. wish granted, he dissappears for 1000 years before coming back on earth.
If the wand of wishing does not grant wishes it is not a wand of wishing, so my wish is not fulfilled.
How can he come back? There is no way out of a black hole, and in a thousand years he will be pulled apart right down to the atoms. I'll accept it as fulfilled wish if he is radiated out as Hawkins radiation, but he is gonna be completely screwed anyway so it's ok.

The first thing I would say I want is immortality, from there I can just remove all the mischief the genie comes up with, since he can't touch me I win. You wish for immortality, immediately you are turned into a stone.

Useless genie is useless and illogical. Gobacktolamp, you have failed at troll and broker the rules. The genie needs to make a wish that corresponds logically with what was asked.
The genie therefore broke the contracts of his own game. I complain to his manager and he promptly gets canned.
as dizzydrone have already pointed out, you never, in any way, specified what kind of cat or cats you referred to, and you also never said that you would "no longer" be allergic, what you said was, to the letter:
"I wish to not be allergic to cats, with no otherwise consequences to my physiology or any change to cats at all directly or indirectly, and everyones perception of cats would still remain the same as well. "
well? I don't see you mentioning anywhere that you alrady have to be allergic to the cats that you want to not be allergic to.
and as far as the genie is concerned, it is irrelevant whether something is possible or not, he can still make it not so, or in this case, it is irrelevant whether it is possible for someone to be allergic to a musical, he can still make you non-allergic to it, is there a problem?
Hey Roblin you're getting worse and worse as this thread gets longer. Pls stop? Just sayin
the truth of your words stings my heart, but indeed, i can see your standpoint, (especially those last, oh god I regret ever making those, I was obviously not thinking clearly) people also get more and more determined to find a way to "beat the genie", which is not, as far as I have seen, the point of this thread, the OP really should have added that the genie can't grant power that is greater than his own or something, its getting really stupid where more than three fourth is just "wish I can wish more" or "OMNIPOTENCY! MOAR POWAH!" and also, i'm getting less and less time.
to be honest, surprisingly enough the very last one was the hardest to answer, or I was just tired, the one where you wish to know an extremely specified bit of information, I just don't see how the genie can wiggle his way out easily, if he can, would someone please corrupt the following:
I wish I knew a method to cure cancer, the mentioned method must be one that I can implement, and/or one that is easily implemented by mankind, it must be non-harmful to the individual who shall have their cancer cured and non-harmful to anyone else.

Hey, maybe we could reverse this thread into a constructive effort, namely formulating a wish that will utterly spoil the evil side effects.
Revising the wishing wand above, i suggest this:
I wish for the genie to do exactly and only this: give me a completely safe for everything and everyone wishing wand now that grants only and exactly, whatever and whenever i wish for, for all eternity and for the genie to disappear now immediately until forever before its mandatory "return to lamp for 100 years" phase.
loopholes? you think you got something better?
EDIT

Yeah. Re your wish, and anyone else's, the flaw always starts when you just generally ask something instead of asking EXACTLY and ONLY for something, as the previous can be easily countered by something like - yeah you are the best BW player in the universe but you get a brain cancer and die, or something that will make the genie set a condition that will invalidate or undermine your wish.

But that would break the conditions of my wish. In order to make me not allergic to cats, he needs to remove the cells in my body that are hypersensitive to cat antigens. Once he's done that, he's not allowed to make any otherwise changes to my physiology (i.e. not allowed to reintroduce them into my system).
Besides, I think the whole "you only get your wish for 2 seconds" is a little old by now since it's been used on a ton of wishes.

Problem is that people cannot wish for something they already have, so imo since I'm not allergic to "Cats" (broadway), he cannot see it as such.
However, if I revise my statement to mention that I am talking about an ANIMAL and to include the scientific genus and species according to current understanding of taxonomy, and then also include that I don't want to be reintroduced to my allergies after he's granted my wish etc...
do i get my wish yet?
