Hi TL (you're awesome btw!). I started out playing Protoss in SC2, just like I did in BW, just because they were inherintly easier to start with for some reason (as they were in BW). Now, however, The Swarm is calling me (just as in BW, you didn't see that one coming, did you!!!). My question is as follows; is there a way to reset your league placement and go back to placement matches to start over. I've basically never played Zerg and am quite decent platinum with Protoss. Or can you create another profile where I can start out with me Zerg-shenanigans?

You could use one of your guest passes you got to play around with zerg for 7 hours and then use the 2nd one to play around for another 7 hours. But thats all u get b4 ur thrown back into ur platinum ranking on that account. Nothing you can do to reset ur ladder stats short of buying a new game my friend.

Ohh or you can join custom games that are ladder maps... up to you really. Not likely to find great opponents there though.

Nope. It wont happen. Otherwise you would be 'bottom-saturated' and everyone would reset for epeen purposes.

Okay, that kind of sucks. Feels like you're getting punished for off-racing. Should be one league for when you're playing P, one for T and one for Z really. Anyhoo, let's just loose alot at first then xD

I think blizzard will implement it later, but for like 20 dollars.

Unfortunately the only method is to simply switch races, drop down to gold or even silver depending on the skill gap between your races, and then work your way up again. As Desu notes, there will be a value added service undoubtedly in the future.

they have good reason no to allow it...the game is hard enough on newbies as it is...it would be impossible to play with all the twats creating new accounts and raping newbies in lower leagues

i belive they will allow people to have more accounts in the future though...

What's so hard about throwing a bunch of ladder games to get down to the league you think you belong in? Or playing a bunch of ffa/custom maps to get a feel for the race? Or just playing at platinum level and seeing how you do and eventually either getting the hang of things or getting knocked down into a lower league anyway?

Use your guest passes if you want, but for just starting out as zerg i would try some custom games, or some 2v2 instead of 1v1 to get your feet wet, the SCII ai isnt bad either, so you could go against some computer opponents to get an idea of how to play if you want to try some ladder games out
