Can't change key bindings in SC2 ?!?!?!?!?!?

One of the things I was really looking forward to in the SC2 release was being able to change key bindings, like in WoW. Which I played for 3-1/2 years.

I really DON"T LIKE having to slide my keyboard way to the left to use the arrow keys to move around the screen, I want to use the WASD keys instead, like in WoW.

Why would Blizzard make the movement keys on the arrows in the first place? Your right hand works the mouse for most people, and your left hand is uncomfortably positioned across the keyboard to reach the arrow keys!

I installed my SC2 copy last night and went to the Hotkey section and it shows a few options but they all had movement on the arrow keys, I'd highlight them and press the key I wanted to use but it won't change them!

I want WASD for movement !!!!!!

Most people don't use the keys to move around, but rather the mouse.

There are utilities you can find for rebinding keys.

They are patching in the ability to change hotkeys. It might not be there now, but it will.

Guest-282: Will there be a way at release to customize your key binds, or at least move the F keys to a more convenient position?

You should really start using the mouse to look around and use hotkeys to build stuff.

Otherwise a workaround would be using for example the autohotkey tool (autohotkey.com) to remap wasd to the arrow keys and so on...

Why would you use the keys to move the screen in the first place? Use the mouse like the rest of us.
