Pretty interesting game! Early lings into roach, then hydra (off of one base). Kind of ends up being a game where it's who can kill the other player first. He goes for ling/muta, and his expo doesn't do so well. It made me win around 90% of my games on gold level. The replay underneath is more the framework of the build. What you see is what you need for the build, although you can win with only this, I advise everybody who try's the build, to make the support units of personal choice! I actually call this an framework strategy, where the build only supports the framework of your army and you can freely make support units of your own choice, may it be units to strengthen your own units, may it be units that weaken the enemy, may it be hard counters for whatever build the enemy uses. Early on in the game, scouting reveals that my opponent is trying to block his natural with a pylon, gateway, and so forth. He pushes against my roach/hydra army with a gateway units + 1 colossus. I hold this attack reasonably well as we fight on the ramp to my main. I seem to have an advantage which I through away when I decide to counter. Two collossi standing on cliffs combined with zealots, cannon fire, and more prove too much. He then counters he and I can't do much. A few infestors would have made this a different game. Just a hint jinro. If you upgrade building armor the raven auto turrets gain +2 armor. This + high sec auto tracking makes a bunch of raven practically unbeatable, since you can easily defend against mutas and hydras with pdd + turrets. there´s nothing he can do about getting his base anihillated. And it´s easy to defend aswell, since your dps marines are save in alot of bunkers, which you can definetly build with that much spare minerals. In the last two weeks of beta i haven´t lost a single game against zerg(ok i lost one where i got 6 pooled but i suppose that doesn´t count ;/ ) It´s probably going to be fixed. Btw nice replay pack all in all. The first games were a little boring though. | ||
