Are ret and IdrA too ugly to represent the foreigner community?
Title says all folks. I think that came off the wrong way. No, I don’t think ret and IdrA are really hideous or anything, I just think they’re not handsome enough to really represent the foreigners like Jaedong Bisu and Flash do in the Korean scene. Granted Flash isn’t quite as hot as Jaedong or Bisu, he’s still miles above IdrA or ret in my humble opinion. Now, like I said, IdrA and ret definitely aren’t ugly, they’re just “too ugly to represent the foreigner community” since the standards are so high there. Personally I think ret would be kinda cute if he lost some weight and IdrA could totally put on the moves if he lost the glasses. And I’m not saying that to be really mean or anything. It’s just that all the Koreans are really superficial – based on rekrul’s words – and they don’t like fat guys or ugly looking guys.
It’s just that… when I used to play starcraft, it was all about mondragon! And sometimes Draco. When you have a beefcake stud like mondragon and a person as gorgeous as Draco, it really helps to suck people into the game – especially girls, which would be really nice for the community in general. Now, it seems like mondy and draco have fallen off their pedestal but I don’t think IdrA or ret can adequately fill their shoes. Sure, ret and IdrA would school mondy or Draco with their insane mechanics and modern strategies but it just feels different (for me at least) when I watch IdrA play and when I watch Mondragon play. Mondy is just so much more handsome! Now, I know IdrA and ret probably don’t care too much about their physical appearance, but I really think they should. Maybe you could even attract girls into e-sports! I mean, it’s almost certain neither of you can reach the physical attractiveness of Mondi or Draco but you guys could still probably be a close second if you cared a bit more about your fans.

why would looks matter? as long as you can put up results... ever heard of JulyZerg? he's got a golden mouse. nobody can question his ability as a progamer which is all that matters.

I don't know what you mean. If ret loses 50 pounds, the girls will be all over him. Idra on the other hand is a lost cause. Only plastic surgery can save that person.
