I didn't watch the ACE match yet but i really hate watching ZvP matches now just knowing a couple of mistakes and zerg loses for sure every time. Even Best losing multiple shuttles didn't effect the push at all :/ I dunno about imba but it really seems the top zerg players have to play an almost perfect game to win while protoss can make mistakes and still come back. Also the fact zerg has to expand more and macro harder, while toss can sit on a couple and pack with cannons.. must be really hard for the players right now.

Yes JD beat Bisu we all know that. But he played AMAZING. One failed HT snipe with mutas could have lost him the game. Players lesser than JD cannot pull off perfect games like that, right from the start they are on the backfoot and have to play catch-up to stand a chance.

What is wrong about that? Every team have aces to save the day.

Check his team icon hee hee

Yes that explains everything.

It is not more common than Flash and Jaedong save the day for their team.

was the sAviOr game good? Like.. did he play well? (All i can take from it was, best as usual lost reavers, shuttles, and failed zvp in genral and savior was playing good, yet failed to work his advantage and best rolled him with one attack and sAviOr never had a chance after that.

Is that close?

Yep pretty much. Failed hydra/lurker attack didn't help at all either then didn't have enough units to defend after that although it probably wouldn't have been enough anyway.

If you had watched the game you would see that effort did not play perfectly. His big drop did no damage because bisu defended it brilliantly, but I guess the map helped bisu micro too

Bisu played way less than perfect as well. His ball didn't do as much damage as it needed too and he stalled way too much. He could have taken Eff0rt down before Hive tech, but didn't.

Bad storms also.

Flash can't really save the day when the other 3 KTF players all lose.

i always wondered what a simple truth was, now im grasping it
u just said that bisu+everybody else are more naturally talented then boxer/oov/nada
u could explain success with just the natural talent 2-3 years ago. Not anymore. Plus we're talking about matchup issues, much bigger picture
I just noticed your signature and realized im wasting time

Maybe english isn't your first language. When did I ever say bisu+others were more naturally talented than boxer/oov/nada. I noticed you didn't even quote me, since that would instantly discredit your post from the outset.

I said that boxer/oov/nada were expectional talents whom just happened to play Terran which made ppl cry terran were cheap and imba back in the day.

Now, we have a bunch of exceptional talents whom just happen to play protoss and now we have another batch of people (you) crying its map imba.

Like I said, its the players thats imba, not the races, not the maps. You also didn't address my point why these protosses are beating ranked Terran on a regular basis and refused to acknowledge the fact that was posted how medusa is 14-14 pvz = balanced.

- #1bisu fanboy

sorry wasnt here to respond 12 hours ago
i wouldnt blame my English for you not being able to comprehend what is posted. Not just my post so it seems.
you did say everyone is better then oov/nada/boxer since success at starcraft is measured solely with natural talent. Since they not successful anymore they lack that. Reread your own post and find where you stated that maps/builds/peparation/motivation etc matters.
another thing, if you read anything i posted i was the last person to blame maps for the latest results. I surely dont cry since im not a "fanboy" of any of the players i defended/zerg in general. I was talking about latest trends in progaming in general and those matches were a good example. Medusa is not 14-14 zvp, you should find out before you start putting this out. Its negative stats for zerg, go look it up. You're just throwing words around that are completely meaningless.
these super talented protosses play fairly even games with top ranked terrans, there is no obvious problem with pvt/tvp "metagame" currently. Thats why it is not discussed. In fact todays GOM TV games clearly support this statement.
if you tried to upset me you failed at it. You're obviously not dedicating a lot (if any) thinking to your arguments here. Maybe it was a bad day for you, i dont know. Just take your time when u post
Can someone ban this guy please? FA?

I haven't watched the VOD but as Godly as Bisu is at the moment am I the only one who's impressed that Effort was able to go toe to toe with him on even bases, on a protoss favoured map? If that isn't a sign of promise or a feat of strength I don't know what is :D. It sounds like Bisu defended the doom drop flawlessly with a "skeleton crew" but it also sounds like that was a calculated risk Effort took that put him behind.

The game was promising. Don't worry, he doesn't have to start during the January. And you'd have to be mad to say that his play hasn't improved.

Wow, I just saw the Savior vs Best game. Best's micro was just awful! Savior's was too at certain points (specifically when he lost that group of hydras to those archons o_o). I just don't know what Savior's game plan was here. He overextended himself TWICE. I thought he had a huge advantage when he sniped Best's first shuttle. He could've gone for a hydra bust right then and there but he chose to expand and tech. And when Best amassed his midgame army Savior again chose to expand and make...Queens. By the LRs I thought Best had an omfg!1one!!@@ army but imo Savior's lackluster macro and overexpanding just had a magnifier effect on Best's army. I thought Kal's macro in his game against JD was just as impressive. I'm merely a peon, but to me it seems like game sense is the first thing to go in a bonjwa and the hardest thing to recover ):
