He probably needs a break.
Predictions:
SaiR << MVP Flash << GuemChi (I'm actually lost. I think GuemChi might snipe Flash) Tempest << GGPlay
KTF 0 - 3 WJ Stars
If it goes to ace I predict Free and that he will win. GuemChi was like an up and coming Protoss, he sniped a few good players in his first few games. I thought he'd be a better player than he is now. I guess there's just so much pressure from WJ Stars for performance in whatever good players they get.
I want to see Stars win but it might be tricky. If it goes to ace free should win it. Flash will win for KTF and GGPlay should win for Stars, but the other two could go either way IMO.

flash is 5-1 vs free, including a game on Colosseum in which he didn't scout till vultures had speed/mine upgrade
Predictions: Sair > MVP Flash > Guemchi - This one is up in the air though. I have a strange feeling that Guemchi have prepared some great cheese Tempest < GGplay Luxury < Zero Flash < GGplay
All games are important, but the game deciding match will be Luxury vs Zero
Wow. So many poeple predicts that GuemChi will take down Flash while Flash just reached a new peak in his Elo TvP, his TvP generally loos very good and addtionally he has been playing really well lately. Sure, anything can happen in the proscene but that's very unlikely.
The only thing that slightly favours GuemChi is the map.

No he hasn't, his peak was like 5 months ago, but I think most people were kidding. I was.

Earlier it said it was, because Horang 2's win had not been put into TLPD. Nonetheless, I think that is telling- one game and he should of been ahead of his record. Flash's tvp is as good as it ever has been, and is basically a favorite-barring map influence- against every protoss on the planet. Not a huge favorite in all cases, but a favorite.

I think most of us think that Guemchi is preparing hard for this match to snipe Flash, which could be possible. I'm hoping Geumchi can take it.

I'm sure this isn't the first time someone has been trying to snipe Flash when he's an assured player every single match and the limited number of playable Terran maps make predicting him easy. And considering he's 13-4 and has only lost to 3 extremely good players (Zero JD FBH) and one fluke game vs Tester where he scouted the wrong tech, I don't think it's very wise to bet on the unknown sniper.
TBH I think they were aiming to match him up against Zero on the best Terran map here, Colesseum, since Destination rather sucks TvP (best matchup they'd have if Zero played like he was earlier in the season. But Zero is bad at ZvZ and hence KTF put Lux against him).
The only way for KTF to not lose is A) Sair or Tempest doesn't fuck up. B) Luxury doesnt fuck up for the 5th time. C) Guemchi doesn't pull something out of his ass making flash look like a retard
And Im actually suprised how many people are doubting flash's TvP The guy is known for his TvP

One would think so... Oh well, I just hope finally he will manage to learn sth from Flash.
Unlike some of the other Stars fans here, I don't have any sort of optimism regarding GuemChi vs. Flash here. However, I'm fully optimistic that both GGPlay and ZerO win and close this thing out before Ace!

the question is, does GGplay have any other strat besides going 5 hatch at lair tech? Cuz if not he's gonna get speedlotted to death again
a valiant effort from Guemchi and he was quite close to making a come back. Flash was on his the edge of his chair at some points. If only he didnt lose his shuttle full of reavers and kept harassing and got to use them.
jesus that game was good, i never even heard of this kid before and he did great against one of the top terran players. That was such a sexy comeback, I wish he would've won.
Im really looking foward to this next match tempest either has really really good or really really bad zvp he just been sending so many mixed signals, like first he beats july in an offline qualifier but than gets raped by him to the point of embarrassment in proleague. GOGOPLAY!

GuemChi did amazing reaver harass. I thought it was prety much over after the 2 fac push but the reavre harass let him get back to the game... I have to say it was an impressive performance from him. But to take down Flash you need to a bit more than he had tonight.

Come on. Don't be such an arrogant KTF/Flash fan. "To take Flash down", yeah well, Flash almost gave up an amazing lead and was close to even giving it up and possibly losing.
Very nice match from Flash and Guemchi, I thought Flash had it won too, but Guemchi had awesome reaver harass and zealot bombs. Flash played well too, it would've been easy to be put off balance by the reaver harass, but he played smart with his vultures and delaying mining at Guemchi's 3rd and pushed with great timing. Good game in all.
Flash seems like an unstoppable player against WJ Stars, but ya gotta give it to GuemChi, he came close to taking him down, even after a horrible set back. Some amazing reaver/shuttle micro tonight. That was the micro that says "Fuck this, I ain't going down without a fight."

Free definetly and while less likely GGplay can take down Flash

This is true, but in any case theyll prolly send luxury if it goes to ace lol..and lets see if the win over jaedong is still fueling the unpredictable force of nature that is the protoss Temptest.

I CAN DREAM
I just don't think slow lurker drop is viable with current builds. Junwi tried it awhile ago when he was qualifying for a league and it was completely deflected even when the Terran went FE.

your player is a scrub. he played above scrub level and earned himself "moral victory" points. we acknowledged said points.

Lol, your posts are consistently terrible. -.-
Anyhow, game starting. I always double take when the game starts up and it's on ash world, haha.
Tempest just made GGPlay look like a noob -_-. Was hoping for an ace game so we could see Mr. Wonderkid again, but Lux SHOULD take it... please don't lose again Lux

my korean's pretty good; not perfect, but i'm better than most korean americans. plus i think ive learned like 100+ vocab words from just watching sc alone ^_^
hmm luxury takes a fast expand with late gas, zero takes gas early, sends out a six zerglings... but the diagonal is too long on this map, i think, for this to be effective. depends on how fast the zergling speed kciks in

though i think neo requiem is pretty imba for P with those scarab holes at the naturals
I do not think so. ZvP: 45-45 (50%)
Neo Requiem throws balance to the wind. That said, it's more about player styles than races in general - unless you're playing TvP, then you're screwed regardless.
At the end of r1 Zero was 9-3 I think, which is pretty sick, and more than that he showed some really high level ZvT thinking and play vs oov and Flash. Along with Free he was the reason for star's spectacular rise. After r1 he's just sucked for whatever reason. But even now he's clearly woongjin's #2 player (GGplay is not even close sorry). The only weird thing was why star's didn't play Free.
Zero just sucks at ZvZ...which is all he seems to be playing recently.

Umm zero's pretty good now I dont know what you are talking about.
GuemChi took down a few good players when he first came around and now look at him. He played a pretty damn good game against Flash and thats just about all hes done recently.

Speculation, conjecture, and nonsense!
GGPlay is the only starleague winner on the team, and he's been playing well again ever since he rejoined the stars. I don't think I could even make the statement that free is playing better than him currently. It's really close.
ZerO falls into the 'promising new player' category. He has a losing record in every matchup, but he has some pretty big wins scattered in there and was on a roll before the last few games (then again, the entire team was too). I really hope he turns out to be great, but saying he's better than GGPlay is just reaching.

Well they do have the record for the longest winning streak in proleauge (something like 21 wins)
I read the aftergame interview and I found some interesting things, translate fun parts. Tempest interview Q. Tempest, you beat GGplay who was running at a 6straight ZvP wins, how did you do it? A. Neo Requiem is not a map suited for a player like me, and on top of that I was against a zerg like GGplay so I was scared. However I studied his games very carefully and I practiced really hard.
Q. You made 3 robotics A. I knew I was very far ahead economically and all ggplay could do was make hydras. So I decided it would be best if I made reavers
Q. What is your weakness? A. My strengths has always been macro, but after playing for some time I realized I was only good at producing units and nothing else. So I decided to practice alot on my game management and get better.
Luxury Interview Q. Ever since WCG you were doing terrible. A. I really didn't understand why I was doing terrible. My practicing pattern didn't change and I still practiced very long but I kept losing. I was very disappointed to myself.
Q. You are 8:8, what are your plans from now? A. To tell you the truth I just realized I was 8:8 today when I saw my stats screen saying 7:8. I was so embarrassed.
Q. Do you think Protoss is a better race against Zerg? A. Honestly, I believe Zerg is still a race which has an upperhand against Protoss, its just that the 6 protoss players are so good right now.
Flash Q. You prepared the 2fac build A. In destination its very hard to cross the bridge so I decided to wait for the siege then move out. Also, I predicted he would use a Double nexus build
Q. He did extremely well fighting you off A. Yes he really did, however his nexus was down and I had such a large advantage it really wouldn't of mattered anyways.
Q. So Individual Leagues is here soon, and usually that means a worse performance in proleagues A. Unfortunately I do believe that is correct. Last season I dropped from both leagues so fast because I thought I had enough stamina to sustain all leagues at the same time, however I was very wrong. This time, I've been training very hard to keep my stamina up so I don't disappoint again.
WJ Stars should have sent out Free for Requiem. I believe he had a much better chance on there than GGPlay. Not to mention he is 3-0 on that map, against Calm, Savior and FBH.
Flash now has a 66% overall win percentage. Is that the highest everywhere? I know JD had a slightly higher one until recently, but with his mini-slump he's fallen below 66%

Yes he is slightly ahead of jaedong. Obviously there are others with better percentages like movie with 4-0, but only a few games. So from the players who have a decent amount of games he has the highest percentage.
