Although looking at the maps, I have no idea why either team put a zerg on Destination... unless they predicted that the other team would also put a zerg there... I mean, Destination is such a bad map for zerg with the 3rd gas so far away..

Seeing as it is on Andromeda, i don't think Flash can lose this. Free is good, but Flash is just awesome on Andromeda. He's also on his way back to being godlike so free will probably fail completely.

They can't put free vs Flash on a terranfavoured map. Better chances putting GGPlay there vs Flash's weakest matchup. GGPlay is pretty damn good in long straight up games and i hope for one. However i hope and think Flash is out of his "slump" and will prove that he's going to dominate the scene for a few months to come.

Im saying saying flash's weakest match up means absolutely nothing because hes over 60% in all match ups..and his TvZ is still prolly top 3 right now..so to say his weakest matchup is merely indulging in pointless statistics because hes so good its irrelevant. His losses to zergs were to some of the best ZvT'ers no shame in losing..I mean you have to lose to someone right?
Futhermore.. case and point Flash's win % and record are virtually identical to the famed TvZ specialist Hwasin (TvZ clearly being his best matchup).

Okay, I'm a big flash fan, but lets not get carried with how flash is gonna do vZ in the ace, cos seriously, he's gotta get past free first, and that's not an easy task.. AND he's gotta have another teammate win a game first.
I'd like nothing more than to have flash spank free, then spank whoever he meets in the ace match, but he's got a pretty tough protoss match on andro first.

I think he has 1 main, 1 nat and 2 others. Sp 4 base, protoss comign to storm again but doesn't succeed that welll.
Protoss successfully pushes terran's third and forces him to lift and a mine pops and kills lots of scvs.
Protoss storms again and kills many scvs. The zvz on the other stream looks epic o_o

Protoss takes terrans last expansion not including his natural Protoss takes his fourth and it looks bad for terran. He gets a bunch of vultures in to kill some probes at protosses fourth but it doesnt look like its gonig to matter.

Weird game. It seemed like Piano was macroing crazy amount of units when he had 2 bases. Then, when he got to 4 bases, it seemed like he couldn't rebuild his army very quickly at all. I guess Stats's harasssment worked well.
Nice play from Stats. We were hoping Tempest would step up and become and the Protoss for KTF, but maybe Stats is the answer.

Andromeda is a P favored map also. In a Bo5 Flash v Free, you'd have to think Flash would win 3-1.

bad attack by zero. he loses a shitload of lings to a group of marines because the swarm comes way to late. at the same time flash is attacking top right.
utlras out for zero. swarm helps to save the expo of zero.

That game was AMAZING.
ZerO took control early on, yet Flash stayed in the game and almost came back.
ZerO is really proving that he is a great player. Hope he can make some individual league titles.

Well played by Zero, but I really hope Flash refines his game against zergs.
While the overall trend for zerg players in the last few months has been away from muta harassment, they're still exploiting Flash's weakness to it. Flash either seems to not have enough defense and gets run over (a la against Yarnc in the MSL and Jaedong in the GSL) or he has too much and he's afraid to move outside his base while the zerg expands like here and Set 1 against GGPlay in the OSL.
Not to admonish Flash for losing this. It's not like he made any glaring mistakes; he just wasn't Flash good.

Flash vs Free was good, Free was constantly throwing low balls and Flash manage to steamroll with goliaths and tanks out of no where.

Ok baby, WStars now is really starting to roll. Couple of months ago, if Free lost, it was a debacle in the former HanbitStars. Zero is showing he is no filler zerg, GGPlay is smiling again and PianO just needs some confidence, and then there you have it, the resurrection of the HStars in the form of WStars.

No, Zero snuck behind Flash's army and killed lik 8 medics, and more than once (though not 8 medics). With 2base 2port vessels, you should have the gas to make medics.

Well, he made some grave errors like both dropships got destroyed in an instant which might be what caused him the game. However he did very well by constantly attacking multiple bases. At one point he broke through the main upper expansion and took out some tech buildings but Zero did a beautiful defiler play to defend it.

I totally agree with that. He micmicroed his mnm forces a few time which each time cost him quite a bit. Same goes with protection of his science vessels. And in general his performance looked lackluster...
