This had better get to Jaedong. Lecaf's guys are certainly not known for their TvT (though Forgg is a lot better than his record indicates).

Midas and Canata have both shown excellent form lately, the 2v2 is a tossup and Jaedong should take his game, so I think the odds of us getting an ace match are quite high! Hopefully it won't be another mirror matchup though :/

If all the individual games go as expected I think T1 will come out on top 3 > 0 but it's just as likely to see Lecaf win one of the first three, and then send it to the ace on a JD win.
Keep in mind the ace is Katrina and JD just played in the fourth set so...I think Lecaf must choose Anytime. That's bad news because T1 can choose BeSt who has 74% god-like PvP and has won his last eight games....
Trouble brewing for Lecaf.

It's definitely allowed, but you will rarely (if ever?) see a team do it because I think it's pretty taxing to play two competitive games back-to-back on different maps and against different opponents.
Usually if a team wants to use a player twice (have him appear in the lineup as well as the ace game) they will play him in one of the first two sets - think KTF with Flash.

Sad to say, but it is very unlikely that Hyuk will win against the ZvZ god that is Jaedong, so SKT1 has to go 3-0 if they don't want to get to ace

Are you crazy? HiyA is decent TvT but Midas is just the better player (especially lately, check his beastly PL record which includes wins over Mind and Hwasin). fOrGG is awful in mirrors but Canata is basically a TvT sniper. The 2v2 is impossible to call but Bul_T and Rumble have won their last three games on Hannibal...absolutely no way Lecaf can go 3-0.

Yeah, Best probably plays ace while Bisu lets his hand rest. I remember Oversky beating Nal_Ra in the 4th set, then losing to Flash in the ace at the start of last seaons proleague.

Oov was 80+% in TvP and TvZ, and around either high 60's low 70's in TvT in the MSL. There's a picture of it in one of Plexa's threads on the Gorilla.

You see a lot of mirrors as the proleague season develops because teams tend to find the most optimum race for a certain map. For instance, a lot of tvts were played on python because people found that T was the best race for the non-mirror mus. Coaches choose which player to send out based on the map; Katrina see so many PvPs on because it was such a P weighted map. It's an almost auto loss to send out anybody but Flash in against a toss on Katrina.

PvT, except Flash, on Katrina: 24-3
so it just shows you how bad PvT was on Katrina, unless your name is Lee Young Ho and you play Terran

That said, if SKT1 keeps this up without Boxer, I do wonder what we'll see when he returns, if he has a real effect etc. It'd be nice if he lifted the abilities of the team again, (Bisu back at his peak, Best even stronger, Midas balling it up further, Fantasy showing good play, the 2v2 rising to a new level etc). That would be rather scary, all things considered.
