If SKT is able to prevent being 3:0ed, this will at least go to the ace. I'm hoping SKT 3:1 however, with either Midas or their 2v2 falling over.

DE cross-scouts, finds Canata immediately.
Starts a CC first while scouting 1fac cc build.
that mascot is incredible gay.
Oov in a suit is incredible pimp though so i guess they're +-0.
Canata has too win now!
Canata going two fac, port after expo.
DE going two fac with add-ons after expo.
Canata going two port wraith now, both machine shops are spinning for DE and he's building a proxy port.
Mines and speed upgraded for DE, mining up Canata's main entrance and natural expo. Wraiths harrassing the SCV's building academy for DE, three dead so far.
DE's port completes and an add-on comes up.
Goliaths out for DE, but he already lost something like 8-10 SCV's trying to get that Academy up.
Dropship out for DE, he loads up vults and places remainder outside main for easy transport.
On April 21 2008 19:12 MTF wrote: Mines and speed upgraded for DE, mining up Canata's main entrance and natural expo. Wraiths harrassing the SCV's building academy for DE, three dead so far.
DE's port completes and an add-on comes up. live reports are really appreciated thanks
DE inside Canata's main, taking out running SCV's.
Canata scans and removes mines, but vults run to main and continue violating the defenseless SCV's before being cleared out.
Vults moving out for Canata, DE's Dropship flies right into four wraiths and almost gets taken down, but DE moves back and drops Goliaths, killing a wraith.
Canata now returning the SCV rape favor by running vults into the back expo and dropping four vults into the main at the same time.
DE moving out with Goliath/Tank army, Canata moving out with mostly tanks and some vults.
Sets mines outside of DE's main and starts sieging up.
All down to either Canata or SKT's 2v2. Come on Canata. : /
DE building up dropships, but now DE is moving into the main with a lot of tanks.
DE drops three tanks into the siege clump and Goliaths help clear it out.
Canata still pumping two port wraiths, also with three/four factories.
Canata drops four vults into the back expo, kills some SCV's, then picks them back up.
DE's proxy port is scouted.
DE moving for a Goliath/tank drop into the back expo, but siege tanks are ready and it fails completely.
What a failure from Canata... that was miserable
DE trying to move in on Canata's third expo with Tank/Goliath/Dropships, wraiths start sniping dropships but all of Canata's tanks are taken out.
Two fresh tanks show up and clear out DE's tanks and DE retreats to pick up the Goliaths in two dropships, going for another drop at Canata's back door.
Canata is moving out with a lot of siege tanks on DE's own third, with only wraiths as anti-air.
Forces a lift.
Base count:
DE main and back expo, taking a new third and fourth Canata main, back expo, third
DE clears out the tanks with SCV drops/tanks.
Canata attempting to sneak around with many more tanks, fights DE's own from the low ground before sieging five new ones on the ledge across from the expo.
Destroys the refinery and a few tanks, and is now looking to approach from above as well.
Fighting DE's siege tanks from the low ground again, looking to make a semi-circle contain and blow up SCV's on the mineral line. Looks to be working as he is still pressing in.
Canata now with five bases, main almost dry, DE with one three bases total, main almost dry.
That was very nice from Canata :-) His silly wraiths are doing a great job throughout the entire game, little by little.
Canata is winning this. if only DE could understand that so we can move on to the 2:2 :o
Canata still trying to press in from the natural expo position, starts moving in with almost pure tanks, just a few wraiths to compliment.
DE circling around to Canata's own natural with a single tank and some Goliaths.
Canata pressing into the main now with a large amount of tanks, possibly GG coming!
Awesome, SKT has a chance yet.
Canata raping everything in sight, now going four port wraiths.
DE calls it.
GG
At least we'll see kwanro vs bisu if nothing else
Canata spins around like a helicopter and then does a generic hero pose to the approval of the crowd, recieves his medal.
Does a little portion of the dance again. :p
Yes! GJ Canata. Those freaking wraiths! You should be proud of this game I guess. Oov can breath a sigh of relief for now. Bisu will play for either the 3:1 victory or to allow the ace match, either way- Bisu will dominate!

Wraiths seem to be kicking ass left and right today.

Cuts to Canata and Midas after replay ends. Midas with a big, awkward grin as usual.

Z (Savior) P (Nbs) vs Z (Rumble) P (Mujuk) on Hunters coming up.
Savior yellow at 12, Nbs brown at 7.
Rumble brown at 11, Mujuk white at 10.
Zergs scout eachother immediately with Ov's.
Both are nine pooling.
I think this is the first game we've seen where players on opposing teams are in the 11 o'clock and 12 o'clock positions.
Mujuk with two gates, Nbs only with the same.
Rumble's pool finishes first, Saviors soon after. Both already upgrading speed.
Six lings for both of them dancing, but Mujuk's first Zealot is coming from behind.
Savior retreats into main and is building a sunk near his gas.
Someone needs to kill that mascot.
Mujuk harrassing Nbs' supporting Zealots, keeping them at bay.
Ling fight outside of Savior's base, Mujuk wins with three lings left.
Zealot fight near center, Mujuk has about one-two more Zeals and forces Nbs to retreat.
Mujuk containing Nbs while Rumble builds three hatcheries.
Savior is building a second, continues ling dancing with Rumble.
LOTS of Zeals coming in with Rumbles lings, Savior throws up two more creep colonies, but I think it's too late.
Nbs comes from behind and drives out Mujuk's Zeals, but Saviors pool and lots of drones go down.
Nbs attempts a counter at Rumbles base, but is driven away by Mujuks zeals/Rumbles ling.
Savior now harrassing with four lings in Mujuk's base, kills a few and is now running around Zeals.
Mujuk and Rumble massing outside of Savior's main again, but are now moving on Nbs.
Nevermind, they stop in the center. Rumble's lings go back to being outside of Saviors main, while Mujuk makes a Zealot line in the cetner to stop Nbs from providing reinforcement.
A few of Rumbles lings come in and clear out Saviors lings, but Savior does manage to still kill a few more probes.
A LOT OF LINGS MOVING ON SAVIOR, MUJUK'S ZEAL LINE STOPS NBS FROM HELPING
Pool down again, but Savior manages to stay alive with drones/a lot less lings/sunks somehow.
Nbs now moving out trying to clear out Rumbles lings, but a lot are dying.
Four more Lings for Savior trying to kill drones now. Only manages to kill one before all but one of his lings die. Gets another one with the last ling before getting killed.
Nothing CJ could do after the opening positions. Savior was destined to be perpetually pressured in a 2v1 without the help of his ally.
Mujuk and Rumble moving on Savior again, Nbs coming up to help defend, but I think it's too late.
Rumble's base is just too close as ling reinforcements keeping melting Nbs's Zeals alongside Mujuk's.
Both still hitting Savior, who has lost his pool again and is down to one hatch and no drones.
Man positioning is so freaking important in Hunters.
Nbs moving into the center, engaging both Mujuk and Rumble's army.
Get's annihilated.
I sense GG soon.
And there it is, GG.
There was no chance for Savior in this as he was continually under fire from both of them whilst Nbs had a longer distance to travel attempting to defend, and kept getting cut off by Mujuk's own forces moving up to the battle.
Mujuk/Rumble with a thumbs up victory ceremony.
sAviOr soo chobo these days T_T
Could this be oov's first win as a coach?
It's time for a revolution! :D
Poor Savior... ugh. Losing in even a 2v2.
That wasn't Savior's fault no Z could hold that.
Oh god. Come on Kwanro. YOU CAN DO IT!
Now that was really low eco. ^^ Sucks to spawn with those positions for CJ. :|
Yeah definitely not sAviOr's fault. The innate "flaw" of Hunters is that so much is determined by positioning.
On April 21 2008 20:00 NovaTheFeared wrote: That wasn't Savior's fault no Z could hold that.
Agreed.
Positioning really screwed them over; not saying they didn't lose the game, but positions helped it.
Savior's entrance was sandwiched by Rumble and Mujuk, who were both closer to Savior's base than Nbs was. Nbs couldn't ever reach Saviors main by the time an attack came, and since Savior was between both his enemies, he had to spend money on defending while Rumble, protected by distance and Mujuk being in the way of Nbs, got to just power lings without needing any defense at all.
Anyone here think Kwanro who is 2-6 ZvP and got straight up raped 0-3 to Bisu last time they met can win this time?
It's true that Savior was fucked from the start, but he didn't play all that well either. Made too many sunks too early and even had to kill off one of his own because it was blocking minerals. That's pretty bad, cause I thought pro-gamers perfect build positioning to an art. As sad as it is, the other Z played better than Savior that game... =/

SKT P (Bisu) vs CJ Z (Kwanro) on Andromeda.
Bisu is red at 7. Kwanro is yellow at 1.

12 hatch at the mineral only instead of the natural...hmmm...
Bisu with forge first.
We get a FPV of Bisu, and what the hell? How is he purple and Kwanro brown in his view? o_O
As far as I knew, you could only become teal/make your enemy red.
The observers have shift-tabbed the original colors, and since they've allied Kwanro, he's yellow, while Bisu shows up as red.
Bisu is sealing up with a single cannon/gate while Kwanro plays it safe with triple hatchery.
Nevermind that, he's got a fourth hidden expo started now, first four lings attempting to kill Bisu's scouting probe.

As far as I knew, you could only become teal/make your enemy red. Bisu uses Oblivion.

O yeah, I got confused. : x
Bisu building a second cannon and going for his standard Stargate opening.
Tries to snipe an Ov with a Dragoon, but fails.
Den and Lair coming for Kwanro.
Hydra den and Lair going up for Kwanro...Stargate finishes for Bisu.
Robo fac for Bisu...sair/reaver?
New scouting probe doesn't get into base, but does see Hydras.
Corsair/Goon finish off two Ov's around Bisu's base, Kwanro is now blind there.
He moves down with about 8-10 lings, tests the waters and is now dancing around his entrance.
Bisu throws up a fourth cannon and has a shuttle out to expo at the 6'oclock island. Spire is almost up for Kwanro.
Looks like Sair/Reaver for Bisu.
Evo chamber coming up for Kwanro, spire is up and scourge takes out a single Sair.
Kwanro has burrowed lings around the map.
Kwanro playing super-passive mode?
Kwanro scouts Reaver/Sair build with scourge, and is massing Hydra.
Now moving on Bisu's base with Hydra/Scourge/Speed Ov's.
Fleet beacon going down for Bisu.
Scourge melt fast to Sair fire, now Sair/Reaver trying to hit Kwanro's fourth, but gets deflected by a waiting line of Hydra.
On April 21 2008 20:20 Centric wrote: Fleet beacon going down for Bisu. disruption web? wtf
Wow...shuttle barely makes it out.
Kwanro has three evo chambers going down and a fifth expo coming.
Kwanro setting up for a drop on Bisu's mineral only.
That fails immensely as a Reaver shot annihilates the first few Hydra out.
i havet seen the reaver/csair combo in a long long time!
Sair/Reaver drop at Kwanro's newly hatched fifth.
Hydra's try to attack from ramp, but disruption web fires off and Hydra's explode under Reaver fire.
Hive coming for Kwanro.
Bisu throwing down a lot of gateways and citidel now
Kwanro attempts a small drop on Bisu's island but backs off when he sees a lot of cannons.
My god...sair/reaver at Kwanro's main...takes out ALL his tech.
Bisu's Reaver/Sair hit Kwanro's main!
Spire down, den down, hydra's down, pool down, lurkers burrowing but being d-webbed.
Lots of Hydra now clear it out, but that's going to set Kwanro back quite a bit. D:
Whoa.. this is like watching Neo Ra PvZ.
Kwanro's not exactly Alexander the great in zvp, but it makes my Bisu fanboy happy to see this.
Bisu throwing up his fifth base at 11. Hydra's engage Bisu's zeal/Sair/Reaver in middle, take out a few Sair and Reavers.
Lots of hatcheries going down for Kwanro.
Hydra's try to attack Bisu's new expo at 11, but cannons/newly dropped reavers stop them.
Evo chambers and Den back up for Kwanro. I don't see the Spire.
Kwanro being harrassed randomly by Reaver drops.
Bisu opens up his second entrance, but doesn't run through because of Reavers.
A LOT OF HYDRA/LING at 11, they take out the cannons, Bisu defends with just two Reavers left alive and a few probes.
Seems like Bisu is doing some sort of zeal/shuttle build with almost all his gas going towards reavers.
Bisu trying to move out with FOUR shuttles (all with Reavers?) and about 16 Zeals. Kwanro is dancing around them with his primarily Hydra army.
Kwanro attempts to attack 11 again, but is deflected easily.
Scarabs tearing apart Kwanro's army when he tries to engage the Zeals.
still no templars? nor observers?
Kwanro finally breaks 11, with a shitload of lings and Hydra.
Bisu countering Kwanro's expos at 5.
Scourge take out all three shuttles and only two reavers drop, both died soon after!
Kwanro looks to be ahead now, actually.
Wow...Bisu may actually lose this. Kwanro has some beastly map control.
Kwanro has the entire right side of the map and is taking 11 now.
Bisu has his two naturals and the island expo, massing Archons now.
Kwanro moving in with a lot of Ling/few Hydra/Scourge/Lurks. Takes out the obs and burrows lurks, but can't break the Archon wall.
Bisu moving out with a lot of Archons and some Reavers/Shuttles again. Kwanro switching from mass ling to mass Hydra again.
Engagement at the 5 oclock expo, Bisu loses his entire army to Hydra/Scourge and GG's.
Since when did Kwanro learn to play macro style?
That's really insanely disappointing.
Kwanro with a thumbs-up to thumbs-down ceremony, with a little smirk on his face.
That was a fun game to watch! I'd send Bisu for ace as well, hope for a rematch :-)
wow. kwanro changed his play style and it worked
I vote for rematch in the ACE match.
RERERERERERE!

I wonder how sAviOr feels, to see Kwanro play like that, to see Bisu dying to his teammate.

I think Bisu didn't really do a good job harrassing Kwanro's economy - the big attack that took out his tech, albeit effective, only slowed down the macro machine.

Bisu didn't switch to ground and templar tech fast enough IMO. The fact that he built 12 archons for his final hoorah showed he must have had thousands and thousands of gas.

Only way he could get to the drones was to fly over mass hydras.
You can't really harass if your opponent is prepared. It seems to me that when the zerg spreads out all his hydras to defend it's better to switch to zealots quickly and hit hard before they regroup into a big army.

I know...I know. ;_;
Both doing standard barracks/refinery.
Iris sending his scout out in the right direction, will scout Midas immediately.
First fac coming for both of them. Iris' scouting SCV is driven out by a Marine, whilst Midas' own scout goes to 11, will probably scout Iris last.
Midas going 1fac, 1port while Iris is going 1fac, CC.
Midas moving out with three marines and a vult against Iris' two vults and three rines.
Midas' push proves effective, wraith out for Midas now as well.
Midas moves in and kills off all rines/vults, has two vults and a marine left.
Take out the SCV building the CC and now Iris is desperately throwing up another fac.
Wraith coming, I think this might be GG soon.
Nevermind, Iris completes his Armory with Iris repairing the SCV creating it, and clears out hte vults/finishes his CC.
Haha, Iris with a gosu barracks block stopping Midas' vults from coming out.
Wraiths are killing a few SCV, but not doing enough before Goliath comes.
I cant really decide if the muscot looks more gay or Canata on that picture ...
that's the midas i know! GOGOGOGOGO!!!!!!!!!!
Iris harrasses with some vults and takes out some SCV's at Midas' newly completed natural. Both have naturals up now.
Midas now researching cloak.
Cloak researched, wraiths taking workers out.
No way.... first time I've seen Midas clutch
Iris is still building the academy, cloak finishes and Midas is now offing SCV's.
Iris again trying to repair the SCV's constructing the academy, loses about three. Scans are coming, but Midas continues picking off SCV's while about five goliaths wait below.
Midas now sieging tanks outside of Iris' nat, wraiths flying in to give vision and then back out.
Iris is ready though with tanks/goliaths and seems to be getting the upper hand in count.
Midas is expanding at 11, is no longer producing wraiths.
lol @ wraith harass very nice
Third going up for Midas. He's got the lead...so far.

Midas unsieges and backs off, Iris is in pursuit. Midas sieges on the ramp outside of his entrance and Iris backs off.
Cut to Oov smiling and seeming jolly. : x
Seems to be about four-five fac for them both.
Iris scouts it...starts putting up his third.
Midas' base at 11 gets scouted by a single Goliath. Iris isn't making a move on it, while Midas moves to defend.
Iris now moving out towards 11 with Goliath/Tank, but Midas has mines and tanks already sieged.
It isn't enough though, Iris has too many tanks.
fuck midas, i like you but i wanna win liquidbet even more.
Iris is building his third at 6.
Engagement near the center of the map, both sieging up on either side. Midas loses a few more tanks than Iris.
Midas mining up the ramp outside of 11.
Iris now with six facs to Midas' five. Midas is mostly pumping vults while Iris makes Tank/Goliath, emphasis on the tank.
Iris moving in on Midas' third. Midas loses all his workers there.
Midas taking his fourth at 12.
Iris moving in on 11 again, takes out the SINGLE tank defending with vults.
Lots of vults rape every last SCV of Midas at 11 while a few tanks hold off Midas' reinforcments.
Iris mines the hell out of 11, then proceeds to kill a few siege tanks with his vults before being cleared out.
Iris moving towards Midas' main now, both have a lot of tanks.
Siegemate occurring at the center.
Iris is making wraiths. (???)
Both are pumping 1port wraith now in addition to mass tank/vult.
Man this is going to be a long game .
Man Midas... one big blunder of mistakes. Even if you somehow win this game... so so far from your old winner self.
About seven facs for Iris now, five bases total including an almost dry main.
Same count for Midas.
Map is split between top and bottom with nobody having a base in the center.
Midas with a vult raid on Iris' 7 oclock expo.
Excellent micro for Midas...taking out mines with wraiths.
Iris moving in with tanks/vults, runs into a lot of sieged tanks and fails horribly.
Remaining tanks are being picked off by three wraiths. (continuing wraith-rape trend)
Midas with dropships now, moving to 6.
Goliath/Tank drop at 6, SCV's run away.
Iris is not moving to defend, but is instead going to 11.
Midas is already sieged up there and moving more tanks there now.
Iris blunders and loses a LOT of tanks.
holy crap the speed of how things go back and forth is amazing. I would crumble like a thousand times
Iris loses almost all his tanks. This game is over soon.
Midas kills one CC at 6, and is attacking the gas with two tanks outside of the other 6 oclock expo.
Refinery and some tanks go down before vults clear, but Midas is moving down with FIVE dropships against vults/four tanks at the expo.
Midas fakes him out and moves on the main instead!
Midas pulling through for SKT? Unheard of, but I am happy to see it.
MIDAS YES!!!!! Iris tries to berserk his way trough but midas keeps a calm head
Midas destroys the vults trying to defend, though a mine goes off damaging him badly.
Midas flies over Iris' new expo in the center with his dropships and moves some tanks to take it out.
Iris GG's!
A ceremony is in order, yes?
Congrats to oov on his first win as a coach.
A big "fuck you" for screwing over my Liquibet .
Midas is literally jumping with every high-five he makes. XD
Final score:
SKT 3:2 CJ
Well done Midas, well done. Same goes to the rest of SKT. But Bisu :'(

I vote based on the match ups, not on the team.

I vote based on the match ups, not on the team and guess what I'm 12/16 in proleague games (I missed the first 4)

Hehe looks like Bisu did the same mistake he did in the Jaedong game. Harassing like a god but failing to finish off. Bisu is loosing his PvZ touch!!
Nice to see Kwanro switch up his gameplay. Perhaps he's not a one build wonder afterall.

w000t seven vote streak continues, thanks midas :D

I thought the first two matches would be a toss up ending 1-1, and predicted the next two, but had CJ winning it in Ace. Why did they send out Iris! I was not expecting a TvT ace

Centric + NathanSC = Epicfail.

What a ridiculous idea. Centric + NathanSC = Epicfail. I think a sizable majority of viewers = epic fail, if that is your criterion.
