Deathfate Pro Team League (DPTL) is a team league sponsored by Trovo, AlphaX and Deathfate with 900$ of prize pool.
- DPTL will consist on 8 teams playing each other once in the league stage (Round Robin).
- Playoff stage will be 4th vs 3rd vs 2nd vs 1st (So 1st team of league stage goes directly to finals) Each team plays another team once a week.
Prize pool
- Prize pool: 1st 550$, 2nd 250$, 3rd 100$.
- Payment will be done via matcherino, the team managers decides how to split the prize between the players.
Match format
- Three 1on1.
- If not 3-0 then a 2on2.
- If not 3-1 then ACE match 1on1.
- All games are bo1.
- For playoffs the format is the same but it will be bo3 every game.
- You can repeat a player in a 1on1, 2on2 or ACE match but the same player cannot play 3 times the same week (so if you use it for 1on1 and 2on2 then he cannot play the ACE match).
- 2on2 can be played at the same time as 1on1 but it won't be taken into account nor casted if there is a 3-0 in the 1on1.
- In case of a Bo3, the winner of 1st map bans a map and the loser picks from remaining non played non banned maps.
Team rules
- Each team must have a manager that will be in charge of arranging which players are going to play that week.
- Teams can have a maximum number of 15 players.
- Teams can change up to 5 players during the league.
- A player that has already played 1 week for a team cannot play with another team.
- Players must have played at least once in the league stage to play in the playoffs stage.
Schedule
- League starts on may 1st. There are 7 weeks in the league stage and 3 weeks of playoffs so The tournament is played every Sunday from May 1st to July 3rd both included.
- Each week will have predefined maps.
- Each team manager will tell organizers in private which players are going to play the 1on1 and the 2on2 (in case it is played) each Sunday at 21.00CEST at latest (1 week before the match).
- We will tell each manager the other team line up and games will be played.
- The time to play is Sunday 17.00 CEST but matches can be played in advance if both teams agree, So you can play all matches other day or some matches before. The opposing team must accept the change.
- Once all games are played you will send the organization the replays via discord.
Streaming
- League will be casted via replays every Tuesday and Wednesday at 19.30PET (2.30CEST), Playoff stage will be casted live if possible on Sundays June 19, 26 and July 3rd at 13.00PET (20.00CEST), cast day and time may change according to players and major leagues availability.
- Players must keep their result secret until the games have been casted.
- RESTREAMING the league without permission is NOT ALLOWED, the event is sponsored by trovo so the goal is to maximize viewers the official cast days on Deathfate’s trovo channel. If you are interested in casting the league please consult the organization.
Points
- A match won is 1 point, a match lost is 0 points.
- In case of a tie, the team with less penalization points will be higher in the league.
- If a tie still exists, the team that won the match against the other (direct encounter) will be higher in the league.
- If a tie still exists (triple tie), the team with better maps won/lost ratio will be higher in the league.
- If a tie still exists (triple tie, as if one went higher by w/l ratio then direct encounter will untie), there will be an extra round with those 3 teams.
- Of course this only applies to teams that can be in the top4.
Penalizations
- Not presenting your line up in time - 1 penalization point.
- Not showing to a bo1 - 2 penalization points per bo1 (and ofc you lose that bo1) 15min max of waiting time.
- Each penalization point will subtract 2$ to the prize of that team.
- A team with 15 penalization points will be disqualified. Penalization points are NOT subtracted from winning points, they are independent and are only counted to discount prize and used to untie in case 2 or more teams have the same points.
- If a team leaves the league or is disqualified, all results of the league stage will be 3-0 vs him, even the ones that were already played.
- Any kind of misbehavior like insults, chat spamming, saying gg for the opponent, sarcastic comments about your opponent or oponnent's play can result in penalization points or even banning that player/team from the league.
- Each team has 5 saving card that can be used to avoid a player not showing to a match penalization, so if a player is not showing to a match a team manager can replace him for another of your team USING THE SAME RACE OF THE REPLACED PLAYER (that has not played another 1on1) consuming your saving card and avoiding penalization. If you run out of saving cards, you can still change the player with one of the same race and play the match as if you used a saving card to get only 1 penalization point instead of 2, and of course to not forfeit that game (same disadvantage of 1-0 applies to bo3).
- If this is used in the playoffs you will start that bo3 with 1-0 in favor of your opponent.

There is a 2v2 tournament running right now by tQ and BSL is planning a 2v2 league, too. There are plenty of avid 2v2 players.

1 Tournament doesnt change it. I thought shield battery 2x2 MM will revive that scene but is not a reality. If ZZZero ends up doing a 2v2 BSL mb will have sucess as long as China bring their players. They actually have an active 2v2 scene. It will be a lag fest tho if they play foreigners.

Eonzerg, Koreans can play for now we have those in SCTV Stars.
Maps are ladder maps as said in the rules, also for 2on2 they will be PP, FS, GN, Largo, etc.. 4 player maps of ladder.
2on2 is included as it is only 1 game and can benefit teams that take it seriosly over the ones that put 2 good 1on1 players, so It may be the difference between winning some match ups or losing.

We have 10 teams signed up for now, we will close inscriptions Sunday and evaulate which 8 team qualify or if a qualifier is needed for some teams. Sunday I will invite the 8 team leaders and they will need to give me the roster for the 1st week. I will also put in liquipedia the map pool for each week.

Good choice with the mappool.
I still think 2v2 is not a good option.There are very few people that can play 2v2 at a good lvl. ANd you cant even improve it cuz well. There is not place to do it.( no players )
