What?
An eight player single elimination tournament featuring only this map, for testing purposes. This is one of 4 single elimination tournaments that are scheduled. Each tournament winner will win 25% of the players prize pool. (unless prize pool reaches $1000+ then we will do 1st & 2nd place prizes for each tour.)

Summer time work life is summer time work life.. I have full confidence in Hawk as a great player and competitor. One of the issues last go-around was time zone differences and crunch time.
We will do our best in the future to make sure things can be as smooth as possible!
This map is really better than Circuit Breaker. 3rd bases (no gas) are so easy to be attacked and 4th bases are so safe. These things are very good, so if you take 3rd base you have to choose all-in soon. If you take 4th you have to play turtle style because these bases so far from main base.
Basic, this map is good for Terran so it's standard map, all standard maps even are good for Terran and so boring to play and watch (I play Terran). Terran can sit there and taking 4 bases, wait to enemy attacks and then win game without scout, move out his location. But this map has a center base and so much bases, this thing make Protoss and Zerg can marco and take advantage from economic.

Everything tQ did in collaboration with map makers and the BWMN community has finally led to this historical milestone. Big shout out to CrystalDrag, Minerals, Freakling, Alex, Spider and other map makers for making the dream come true. A foreigner map finally accepted into ASL with chance of being re-featured in other leagues (both foreign and Korean) and maybe even ladder. This was the unrealistic and ambitious goal and vision we had in mind when we started our little showmatch mappers series with a handful of map makers and players who were willing to test new maps and provide feedback for us.
Now the map making community is alive and active, and the BroodWarMapsNet discord is filled with foreign and Korean map makers, including ASL mappers, not to mention an inclusive, democratic, completely novel and independent map contest series run by and for the map making community, in collaboration with interested TL.net public members and map test players has been established!

The idea/goal of this map contest was to provide a nice catalog of well rounded maps for leagues to shop from. Definitely happy with how things are turning out.
