Edit: you didn't contact me regarding tournament, so please don't spread a lie. You asked to reply in thread about map, where I think I wrote everything you had to know. That is you used wrong name for map and there is not much I can talk more about until me and my colleagues check it out in free time. | ||

The rules of the tournament is given in matcherino link in the top of this thread you can read about it. You gotta pick your favorite race and play with that all battles. The game mode will be the best fitted for 1v1 battles which is single race, heroes and abilities on, reinforcements off, specs on at fast speed, income speed fast. The tournament is gonna be played in 4 rounds 1 per week of best of 3 1v1 battles you win you pass to next round you loose youre out. the winner will get 50% of the prize pool and the 2nd will get 30% and the third will get 20%. the matchlist is drawn randomly by 16 numbers made drawn in a map i make for it hosted with observers to be legit. when youre setup with an opponent you got 1 week to arrange your battle and send info on battle time to me so one observer can be choosen to observe and stream the max 3 battles. All races is represented by the players in the tournament so far so it seems we gonna see all kinds of battles. but everyone is free to exploit if any imbalancies and choose the best race You and Your colleges are very welcome to join the tournament the worlds best DS player will be found here You never replied to my private msg tho, im happy to have you speaking now (we can also do private battles you radley and me if you dont wanna join the tour) All the questions and asking about links in the other thread i made have never been answered thats why i private messaged you to come up with answers. | ||

But i think flash would say that some maps is not fair balanced for all races the same way im argumenting that not all DS maps is fair balanced for all races | ||

Matches are usually bo3 and played using zvz, pvp, tvt (first matchup is ban vetoed, then loser picks next) - to avoid any race imbalance, because there is always some. 3. Map maker does not take part in tournament, because he can abuse his knowledge about some hidden factors. Generally your tournament does not comply with any of these important points. But you called it Grandmaster Desert Strike World Championship. Tell me what can I do here apart from scratching my head and feel pity for you. | ||

DS have always been intended to be played by auto mode and the ai of the computer units(bugged, stucked, stacked) is in the balance of the map. So in the DS you speak about you build buildings while controlling the units that is spawned? (what an huge mess 99999 money maps go home you need an 3k apm to play this your speed is the only factor, on my ds when players maxed the spawns each side spawns around 1000 units with players beeing able to click 12 units at a time and give them an action you can imagine how many actions it would take to control this many units all this while you also need make buildings at the base) not a ds ive ever tryid and not a ds other than your secret ds colleges play. Is this the DS you call the one and only classic that no players know off?. Luck is also a factor in fastest and low map play. 2.So if battles are always zvz pvp tvt than you call the map balanced? maybe you can never say its 100% balanced but your choices and timings and luck plays the biggest role instead of the race differencies.. like if ranked battles always would be zvz pvp and tvt than you couldnt say sc is balanced. I would say scbw is balanced tho i know some can argument that stuff is never 100% balanced.. but skills play big enough a role for me to call scbw balanced. 3.Why should map maker not play in the tournament if the map is legit and dosent have cheats and info about all stuff in map is given to players. why should the map maker then not be allowed in the tour thats nonsense. as i am the map maker of ds classic your trying to argument that i know stuff to map that ive or is hidden from players? do you really think my map would be played or players would join my tournament if that was the case? Is the map maker of your DS also a secret?Im pretty sure map makers of bgh and lost temple etc are allowed to tournaments too Can i ask you a simple question is pro low map players better or worse than pro fastest / 99999 money maps? the maps i see streamed with pro players playing em is low maps. but the high apm should be an advance if playing fastest/99999 maps right. what im saying is just speed is not the only factor in sc. DS is alot more slow based and compareable to chess in a way.. and theres plenty of skill in beeing good at chess or the DS i know Good games and maps is played alot, like chess and ringing bloom, bgh, lost temple and fastest vgt maps etc etc but the map your speaking off is not played.. but is very competetative and tournaments is played on it too. Im sorry for your scrathing on your head and feeling pity for me | ||

If you know and have played DS you would know an manual game mode as hes speaking of wouldnt be good to watch or play. In my DS theres alot to do in a strategic way so its not just watching the armies ran into each other, its timing on when you add income and when you add marines instead of bat and when you add mech and or air units and when too add supportive units and stack units and when to upgrade techs and upgrades for units. in my map you got around 80000 ore (depends how good you timed you income advance) to choose which units you need add at a good timing. Theres lots of build combinations. if you intrested i have replays you can watch.. your skills matter more than you think(chess is not won by sitting back watching the pieces battle and if you think its thats easy you should join the tournament sit back and win 50 dollar). if this would be played on the (manual mode) there would be way too much too control thats why the map is not made for that. if it was the case that a manual mode ds would be good it would have been made and played for a long time now but its not.. thats why i think its him harasssing me but if i see links to the map he speaks and replays ill be sorry for my mistaking ofcourse. I know other DS maps there wouldnt be so good in the matter choice and timing demanding, mostly because of its balance and simpliness. But i know another DS thats played on a league base, thats the Desert strike Angel, which is played in china server, but no one knows or play it in the other servers. In that map theres enough to do that differencies the winner from the looser which makes it skill demanding and hence its played league wise. (That map is no secret and its only played on auto, i can send you both replays and links to download it) In another post where im introducing my DS radley post these two post at the start: 1.Radley saying:I am pro at desert strike classic with 10 years experience and I have never heard of this map version, nor any of my other pro colleagues, as I asked them on our discord server for desert strike pros. Just saying... 2.Radley saying:Desert Strike Classic has around 11-12 years. The fact you took a name from it for your 2 years old map doesn't mean it belongs to you. I'm talking about original Desert Strike Classic - the only one considered competitive for professional DS players so far. We will give it a try though on one of our daily training sessions and give you a feedback. Please don't call yourself pro though, since your west scene has really nothing in terms of ds competition to our europe scene. I doubt I have even seen any of you on yearly DS Online Championships, mostly korean and european players have been qualified for it. Here he is disrespecting the name of my DS aswell as disrespecting the level of the DS players on us west server, hes mentioning a DS map he calls the one and only ds classic and says its the only one beeing competetative enough to play tournaments on it.. As he says its been around 11-12 years i have an idea of what DS version he speaks about and its not played on manual mode (aswell as i can argument that the DS he speaks about is too simple and not well balanced= the opposite than good for competition, he says in this thread aswell that they play it bo3 tvt or zvz or pvp(which i dont call balance).. But he dont wanna spit out which DS version hes speaking of. Too me it seems he only wants to disrespect my DS So untill ive seen links or replays of Radleys DS map (how hard is it too upload a replay too BWreplays.com?). This is the one and only tournament for good DS players | ||
