Original announcement : Weekly SC:R tournaments
- Every Monday 7pm. AEST (GMT + 10) time. (or 6PM depending on daylight savings)
- Open to any player from the SEA / ANZ / JP region only. (SEA is anything south of China essentially - check the eligible countries below)
- Double elimination bracket.
- Best of 1. And Bo3 from semis onwards. (generally). Finals is B05, with 1 map advantage.
- Server: USWest
- Channel : OSC
- You do not need starcraft remastered to play. The original version is fine.
Eligible countries:
- Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, India, Laos, Cambodia, Brunei, Japan, Myanmar, East Timor, Fiji & other pacific islands in Australasia area
All skill levels are welcome to come along and play.

Dont forget that you have to 'check in' during the last 30 minutes. (it auto does it if you sign up during that time)

Prizes: For top 2 players. $50 gauranteed every week. $37.50 &12.50$ AUD. (and more if donations occur)
$50 Cup for SEA/ANZ Players only. Planned new timeslot is Mon 7pm KST (12pm CEST, 3am PST), players to meet on the NA server. Duckville will be the regular caster covering this series.
Just doing this thread so its more targeted towards the players/countries involved. Hopefully we can get the word out and increase the player count.
So if you know anyone from these countries, point them in this direction!

Unfortunately, i saw that it mentioned that Hong Kong is not allowed. So i presume the same is also true with Vladivostok.

It was mentioned in the third line. I have since moved that up and bolded it.
Its a weekly tournament held every monday at 7pm AEST. Hence, the next tournament will be Monday 2nd Oct 2017.

Week 7 is this coming Monday, the link on Legionnaire's post seems correct. Anyway, moving forward, we'll be starting at 7PM AEDT because of DST. This means 4PM SGT for SEA folks!

Daylight savings has started in those weird southern states. As such for us QLD'ers its on at 6pm Mondays now, while for the southerners its still 7pm.
I guess the tournament clock is based on NSW time?
No idea about the other regions.

In response to Drake. I have lost 2 sets.
- In the first week, I lost the Grand finals vs sensei, but since i won the winners bracket, it went to a 2nd best of 3 playoff. (after that week, it switched to a single b05, with a 1-0 head start)
- In the 7th week, I lost the winners bracket final vs glow 2-0. Then came back and won the grand final.

Legionairre only on place 5/6 in a SEA tournament with looserbracket loosing to dieflying and quantel ...

The SEA Weekly is going on hiatus for now/will be run intermittently.
There'll still be weekly SCR Opens.
