I hope you guys had fun from the 1st week of KCM RACE SURVIVALS Season 1.

This week other races will realign their teams to take over the champion.

Each team has captain who had the best score in last week, Captains pick players to assemble each team. Since there is prize for winning team, captain tries to make better team every week.

I hope they win too, so join me in listening to our hearts rather than our brains
Are you a fan of the Protoss race in general or are there some specific player that you like on that team?
Movie is capable of beating all of them, the problem is and this applies to everyone, they have to play against 3-5 players in a row. But then again this is not exactly new, they had a similar format in 2011 winners league back when it was around. I think Larva is the scariest player in the tournament, he's the one that concerns me.

Movie plays in a way that he opts to exploit any weakness, and i mean ANY weakness in terrans defence and/or timing in early to early mid-game. The positive thing about this is that no terran player can prevent all holes in their defence and if Movie catches them with their pants down he will win vs Flash even. On the other hand, movie does takes huge risks with the way he is trying to find those holes (turrets and mines is his worst enemy) and will often be punished for it. It can go very either way with him.
His pvz from 2014-2015ish was crazy as people should know. The style of harrasing so much that you force zerg to constantly protect their drones (and rebuild them). The point was not necessarily to be cost-efficient with the harass, but rather to take away competelety zergs initiative of the game and (semi-)safely expand yourself. Movie's pvz is still heavily based on multitask harrassment, but not like that completely crazy style like he used to have a couple of years ago. It is a very demanding style to play and also perhaps zergs were able to evolve to better safeguard their drones against Movie. Still we are talking about the guy that understands the matchup in and out and had the second highest winrate in the matchup back in the prime of bw. He knows his stuff.
Movie is a low-apm player that relies on risk-taking, out-smarting and out-thinking his opponents. You gotta hand it to him. But being a Movie fan is one of many let-downs. He just isn't the most clutch or skilled player out there and his playing style is very much one where he balances on a knife's edge. But as many fans of various protoss players know - you can never stop dreaming that one day, one day....
And lets not forget that Movie has all-killed teams in Winners league, Sonic teamleague and has been one of the best performing members of team protoss in KCM legend matches overall.
hero is such a macro monster. I don't even understand how he got in this position by doing almost nothing but he felt ahead from the first few minutes this game. Huge fan of lurker drops too. So good how much control he has in this game.

Combined with HerO missmicro and lack of mutas&scourges to deal with hts and observers... If you go for heavy lurker play you must take care of observers.
I cannot in good conscience be hero's fan anymore after that game. I don't even think the no tech switch to muta mattered that much. He was so ahead going into late game and he had literally 20+ Lurkers in multiple engagements but no swarm on top of them. If he had better defiler usage that game was in the bag.
Plagues cannot stop archon and swarm cannot stop storm. Hero could have tried crackling and defiler drop to snipe Shuttle's 9 o'clock base while his lurker container still controls the middle of the map. Fighting late game protoss army without ultralisk is difficult.

Ultralisks aren't even that good vs Protoss. Maybe in that situation they would have been better than the huge amount of lurkers hero had that didn't get swarm. And there is no way Shuttle could have afforded a heavy Reaver/Archon army composition to deal with Ultras cause of how late his 3rd was and he never really got a 4th until the game was already over, so in a vacuum I agree this game Ultras would have been a way better decision than his large amount of lurkers and defiler tech which accomplished almost nothing all game long.
And yeah, drops woulda been a lot better than throwing units away. I mean, in hero's defense Shuttle micro'd that so well. Hero knew he was ahead and maybe it influenced him to play sloppy. But Shuttle showed that macro alone could not kill him despite his disadvantage. So pissed at that game.

I guess he knows that failhoon is in his team, so he got to take care of every Z and T by himself :´) and it seems that he wants revenge for his game against effort last week ^^

Yeah, It feels like Zero need to lose his third to get his sense back, stop going the Hero way and actually do sth for a chance of winning the game with the muta switch lol.

Thought sSak already played on bluestorm. Only Last is left? Zerg probably has no chance now... Last is gosu so if he beats Shuttle here there is a decent chance Terran can still win this.

That was Mind and Last already lost to Shuttle.
wrong, now its last vs shuttle...
and i just realized that the 6th game is on medusa!! i would love to see a shuttle vs effort rematch on the same map!

Ikr, they keep hitting the timing.
I think they can still defend 3rd with some sunken sim city, 1-2 hatch instead of going straight 3 hatch, it's not like they need that much larva going muta. Maybe there is some hesitation choosing between hydra and muta.
Shuttle was almost in his TvP ASL1 beast mode, but Last was done his homework this time. The strongest Shuttle skill is great defense of his probes with proper building and goon placement, which was countered perfectly by Last. Such a damage with low investment.

A lot of those risks are unnecessary and just bad reads and dumb decisions. He goes for these greedy builds that skimps out on early defense which makes him vulnerable to mass muta or mass hydra bust. I wish he would just play more safe. He also reacts bad when players figure him out. Watch his two matches against Zero and you will see what I mean. Starts at 2:04:28
Shame too because when he plays standard he's capable of beating Effort and even Flash. Wish he would just play more standard instead of cheesing (which he often does) and play more safe. But he's been practicing hard, he's been improving. I know it's a long shot hopefully he wins the next ASL.
