The drop lands in the bottom right corner of Darkelf's main and does considerable scv/depot damage before being taken down.

Justin follows up with a smaller drop on Darkelf's nat. He's attacking from the air to get around the contain from Darkelf.

Justin has expanded 5. He's also flying towards Darkelf's main with 4 ships.

Darkelf flanks it nicely with units from outside his main and scv/tank/gol/dropship from the main.

Darkelf drops 5 with some tank support just outside on the high ground. Justin drops 5 in defense. He's also apparently adding ccs all over the map.

Darkelf stops one big attack from Justin but then immediately types out realizing he can't handle another one.

The economic advantage from the 14cc was too much to overcome when Darkelf couldn't do any real damage to Justin early game.

Darkelf didn't really have money to spare for building turrets, especially in the bottom right corner of his base where Justin could bring tanks down from 5 and knock them out anyway. Justin didn't need turrets because Darkelf hardly had any dropships.

Justin says it worked well last time let's go again and plops down a 14cc to Darkelf's standard depot/rax/gas start.

First couple rines coming down from darkelf. Justin has his rax in front of a bunker at his choke he's totally safe.

Darkelf wisely adding a quick cc himself here.

Similar starts from both players. 2 fac vs. fac/port. Difference is a much quicker expo from Darkelf which means he won't fall behind as badly early.

The players trade 2 tanks at Justin's nat.

Dropships and extra factories coming from both players. Both running off 4 fac and a starport now.

Justin odd expand choice of 3 nat.

They're killing each other! Justin dropped 4 ships in Darkelf's main and Darkelf ran his army + ships to Justin's nat and is camped on the high ground there.

Darkelf definitely got the better of that exchange as he stopped the drop in his main without losing much and his positioning on the high ground + reinforcing drop led to the destruction of Justin's main as well.
