- turrets are not as powerful but still to be respected, especially in big numbers as we saw at Last's main; - mass dropship play is pretty standard, doom drops are far more often and usually don't bring doom, usually defended by means of your own mass dropships; - dropship capacity is like in sc2: 2 tanks\4 vults\4 goliaths\8 scvs; - gas matters in TvT, every base generally has 1 geyser so you can easily see who has an eco advantage by minimap, mineral only are not too common but exist, double gas are very rare and sometimes mostly decorative (see e.g. Fighting Spirit middle exp); - that beeping sound + magical blue stars flying around are scans, were landing right on the spot in this game, e.g. Last sees loading dropships - takes necessary actions; - tanks don't have these silly siege range helping circles, less help more skill as you know; - it's all about highgrounds in TvT, you have ~50% chance of missing a unit on highround, much like in sc2 you don't see highground UNLESS someone's attacking you from there, then the firing unit is visible for couple seconds and you can fight back. | ||
