It shouldn't, it lead to both bad BW and bad SC2 since the players had to split their practice.
hybrid proleague should never come back but I always say, if special forces can have a proleague (I don't think they do anymore though), then BW always can live. though special forces also is popular in playtime

Because when you left, Brood War was all spotlights and titans. Now, with the death of the big leagues, Brood War has moved to the basements and carparks. Now, Brood War is unlicensed brawls, lost teeth, and bloody fights for fistfulls of money - SirJolt

I meant in a way that players would dedicate to one or the other. You'd have you BW guys and your SC2 guys

Hybrid proleague but players can only play either sc1 or sc2 each season and must choose at the beginning.
Yeah hybrid has it's purpose to ease viewers/players into sc2. But we shouldn't bring it back.

they can coexist under same channel casters etc, but they shouldnt be hybrid that said, perhaps we can have players move between the two games more readily than now. for instance, one player could play sc2 for one season and move to sc1 for another and vice versa
