This gives us 8 teams, which I am sure most agree is a nice number. I'm happy with number of players on Courage, SB, TAKK, and NW. SunKan and Ace could use an extra player or two, but they are low priority.
AA needs a team.
Phoenix needs a few.
We have 12 free agents, 8 go to AA to bring him to 9, and 4 to Phoenix also giving 9. This doesn't leave any drafting for SunKan, but I think it's more important to get other teams up to a decent roster.
Hopefully we can get another 3-4 in the next week or two.
Thoughts? Despa is a one man team, hahaha.

Thoughts? Sounds good, more or less. 9 is a decent number of players. On March 02 2013 11:40 ninazerg wrote:On March 02 2013 11:28 Sentenal wrote:On March 02 2013 11:03 ninazerg wrote: What now? Well, I guess I should point out that I'm not playing in the DRTL, or even ever applied to play in any D-ranked league. All I'm saying is that if people want to play in a league because they love playing StarCraft, and meet the requirements, then I see no problem. There are a bunch of C- people who don't want Puppykiller because they don't want to lose, and want to bash on players like yourself instead. Like who? If you are going to talk shit, be transparent about it. If you're going to say I'm talking shit, you need to be transparent about what shit is being spoken of. Do I really have to spell it out for you? I guess understanding context is pretty hard. Okay. You keep saying that people don't want Puppykiller in the league, because they are afraid of him, and just want to bash on low level D- players. Who are you talking about? You are trying to talk shit to said players, but are too afraid to name them. If you're going make these assertions, you're going to have to be more transparent about what you mean by "Puppykiller".
Are you perhaps thinking that bigsandwich is not puppykiller? o_O
Those two are the same.

That was because it was crazy rigid and even more because Eywa made no effort to run it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the draft hasn't necessarily started yet because of all the talks of adding a C-rank to teams and puppykiller/ninazerg vs Sentenal/Zergneedsfood going on, lol...
Liquipedia is doing fine, just that there's been no changes to add yet, but don't worry, you'll be on a team soon enough.

I think this poll needs to be on this site too:
Poll: Allow 1 C Rank Match in DRTL?No (37) 70% Yes (14) 26% 2 C Rank Matches (1) 2% Yes, but D Rank Ace (1) 2% 53 total votes Your vote: Allow 1 C Rank Match in DRTL? (Vote): Yes (Vote): No (Vote): 2 C Rank Matches (Vote): Yes, but D Rank Ace

I believe that having 1 C player per team is cool if all the teams can get their entire lineup to show up every round, but I'm afraid that by having C players the results of a team become way too dependent on whether the C dude shows up or not.
On the other hand, by having a C player the team manager can actually devise sniping strategies, predicting where the opposing C player will be sent on, but EVERY team should have a C player, otherwise it would just imbalance the league.
It is really complicated :/

The C players would have only been playing in one set always against each other. I guess there isn't a lot of support for it so I hope everyone can get their rosters out consistently.

Am I a free agent or am I part of Sun Khan?

Yea, I feel like alot of people are misunderstanding what it means.
It appealed to me because of coaching and integration, and because it would allow for Bo7 ace format, which gives one extra match for those in the red ranks.
The only argument I've heard against it so far is "we've done it this way in this past, why change?". I think what people don't know and/or are forgetting is that CPL (coach pupil league) was one of the most successful lower level leagues in BW history.

Adding another set wouldn't really add one more match per week. I suspect that very few teams are capable of sending 6 players consistently. Either way. Why is it such a big deal if we don't squeeze out the absolute max amount of games? I think limiting the amounts of wo's is more important.

Are match postponements still allowed if discussed beforehand with the player you're match against?

I think people feel like the D players might play C players, which might explain all the no's, but as I still stand by what I said earlier in the discussion about how adding a few C level players to play C level players helps out.
