His comments on how the matchups work and flow are incredibly helpful to a noob like me, for example his comments just now on the TvZ tech race and how the lategame should and does work. I'm sure it's obvious to BW veterans but having looked around for vods, it's rare to find English commentary that explains the flow of the game so well and it's a big help! yea it's really awesome. I'm about as much of a bw veteran as you can possibly get, but well, we never enjoyed regular english commentary back in the day. it's funny how sc2 basically first kills the game, but then proceeds to provide the infrastructure and viewership numbers to revitalize it. ![]()

You focus on highly aggressive play with very mobile MnM armies, and spend all your gas on getting a huge vessel cloud which is used to take down the zergs gas heavy units (ultras, defilers, lurkers) with irradiates.

I don't understand how science vessel are better? they're different styles with different strenghts and weaknesses. mainly, it's a tradeoff between mobility and firepower - pure mm vessel can move around freely, while if you're adding tanks, you basically need to move slowlier and force zerg to engage your army. which style is stronger is largely map dependant; if you are playing a map where you (as terran) can hold off some significant pathways and where expansions are bunched together, including tanks into your army is great. if, however, the map is more open and expansions are more spread out, tanks become less efficient in a fight, easier to avoid for the zerg army, and the decreased mobility can end up killing you. if you lose a battle with mm&vessel, you normally manage to retreat with half your army still intact. losing a battle with tanks, means your entire army dies.

*casting bakuryu vs terror* *seeing bakuryu vs julia ro16 replay* Sayle: even though some might think terror is the favourite, I would not count bakuryu out Elegent: yes, bakuryu definitely has a rational chance in this bo3
